Good fries! Everything else was just okay. Corned beef in the Ruben was very tough but the sauce was good. Smash burgers were pretty good. Thai peanut chicken wrap didn’t have any Asian flavoring at all. Cozy atmosphere although a bit dusty and worn. Service was a miss with our waitress being a bit cold and short with us. We would try again if it was the only option. Didn’t hate it; it was just a mid experience.

Greeted and seated quickly, we were ahead of the dinner rush. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The pulled pork tacos were very good! Recommend!

I came here for a friend’s birthday dinner and unfortunately the experience started off very poorly due to the supervisor, Diandra. or d’andre. When we walked in (party of 4), she was sitting down on her phone and did not greet us. We stood there for a while before she even acknowledged us, and from the beginning her energy was unwelcoming and dismissive.

There were some minor accommodation issues, but what really stood out was her attitude. When she brought our plates, one was loudly slammed onto the table. It was uncomfortable and honestly shocking. Later, when I asked about purchasing a birthday shot for my friend, she nearly walked away while I was still speaking and visibly rolled her eyes. It felt incredibly disrespectful.

When I expressed my concerns, she did not apologize or attempt to resolve anything. There was no professionalism — just attitude. For someone in a supervisory position, this behavior is unacceptable. As paying customers celebrating a birthday, we should not have felt like an inconvenience.

Thankfully, our server Susan completely turned the night around. She was kind, attentive, patient, and truly saved my friend’s birthday dinner. If it weren’t for her, the evening would have been ruined. She is the reason we stayed and enjoyed ourselves.

Management should seriously reflect on how supervisors represent the restaurant. Customer service matters, and no guest should feel unwelcome or disrespected.

Best fish and chips we’ve ever had! Fried pickles were good too.

Def’ recommend the savory veggie burger plus french fries that were crispy and light. We had friendly service, yet were frustrated that others who were seated 10 minutes after us had their food before us. Confused by the disconnect between the kitchen and the front end. Indoor and outdoor seating good for intimate or group meals.

The hostess was unbelievably rude and arrogant. Which is too bad, since the restaurant itself is nice and the wet burrito I ordered was good.
Here’s what happened: we arrived to add our name to the wait list. The hostess said you heard the drill. So I said 2 and my last name. Kind of strange. Then after ~30 mins a party of two, who came in after us, was seated before us. I thought my name was scratched off and we were forgotten. I told the hostess (who may be the owner based on another review I see) it seems like someone went before us. She abruptly replied “no one went ahead of you. I know how to do my job”. My daughter and I think she’s wrong, nonetheless, what a way to treat a customer.

She had the cosmopolitan. I had just a regular old vodka, water, cranberry. Both excellent drinks/pours.
We had the calamari appetizer. Shared the pulled pork, carolina style. Both very good.
I’ve been coming here for 40 years. Shes been through several owners. I have zero complaints.
Good mix of college and locals crowd.

I made a reservation 3 weeks ago for the two of us; we waited patiently in a packed waiting area, as expected on a busy night. After 40 minutes, the room cleared out and everyone was seated before us, all folks on the waiting list and 3 groups who had a reservation times 30 minutes after we did. People who had only been waiting for ten minutes got seated before we did. There was no communication from the hostess. We were the only ones left in the waiting area and we spoke up to the hostess and started to inquire about our wait. I was stunned when she interrupted us and told us we could either wait more or leave the restaurant and informed us that she was the owner. Needless to say, we did not deserve to be treated so badly and we left. The owner is extremely arrogant, aggressive and condescending.

I made a reservation because I knew it would be busy on a Friday night and I was right so I definitely recommend calling ahead. Our waiter, Logan, was very friendly and attentive. The chicken marsala was good, my husband got the dirty steak which was delicious.

The atmosphere is great! The bar tends to be louder but the area we were seated was mostly couples dining and didnt have any tvs going which was nice.

Only complaint was the woman’s bathroom smelled horribly like urine, so I was quick to use it and get out. But its never been a problem in the past.

The food is good but for a place in Vermont I thought there would be a few more healthy choices. My daughter is lactose intolerant and we had to bring our own soy milk for her which was a bit of a pain. The atmosphere was also a bit dark due to the floors and walls being so dark and the lighting.

We came here again and again were disappointed. The atmosphere was way too loud and the service wasn’t great. I ordered potato skins and the first time I couldn’t cut them with my steak knife. The second try was better but I was still unhappy and left hungry.
