Our plan for the day was simple: enjoy a pleasant lunch at The Shed with our dog, soaking up the ambiance of outdoor seating. However, the weather had different plans. A sudden thunderstorm warning led many restaurants to close their outdoor sections, and our hopes of finding a dog-friendly spot dwindled with each rejection. Famished and almost out of options, we made Mission Taco our final stop, hoping they would accommodate us indoors for a quick meal.
To our delight, The Mission Taco welcomed us with open arms! Despite the weather chaos, they allowed us to bring our dog inside, not only was the hospitality exceptional, but the food also exceeded our expectations. The flavors were delightful, and the interior of the restaurant added to the cozy, welcoming experience. The Mission Taco turned a potentially disappointing day into a memorable one, with great food and even better service.

I like the atmosphere a lot , the food has always been consistent, the tacos always are very full with meat and tasty. The drinks are great as well. The artwork and decor is very cool too. You can usually always get a table here as well . Definitely recommend.

Excellent taco spot located in the heart on Huntington, NY with tons of character. The guacamole was fresh and presentable, and the tacos were delicious and well portioned. Brendan, the bar manager, was extremely helpful setting up an event that ended up with 30 people in attendance. Staff was attentive and responsive even with normal operations happening around us. Will definitely be back to try more of the taco! 10/10 experience

Great atmosphere, people and food! We come in as often as we can and are always happy. We recently celebrated our baby shower here and they did an amazing job. I would highly recommend Mission Taco for a nice night out or your next big party.

I stopped in on a hot day to sit at the bar and watch a NY Mets game. This was the perfect spot. It was cool and comfortable….plus had everything that I was looking for.
My bartender Brendan was awesome. He was engaging and a great conversationalist. He loved working there and definitely took pride in the quality of the food and drinks that they served.
He made a killer Margherita…I had three! And the maple bacon appetizer was off the charts delicious.
The staff loves this place so much that Ryan, another bartender, was there eating lunch at the bar on his day off.
This is a place that I can see myself spending alot of time! I can’t wait to go back!

Matt and the staff were great offered alot of information on the drinks and food. Checked on is in between our tacos. Highly recommend the Blacker than berry margarita. So friendly and relaxed atmosphere so needed after the 3 month lock in..Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for all your service.

I love the work bowl and power bowl (vegan) combined with the fried tortilla chips. We did substitute tortilla wrap with lettuces on tacos (sounds weird but they actually taste good and low calories). The cocktails are good and creative.
Our waiter, Ryan, was very friendly and attentive to our need. He took care of my friend who had too spicy pork belly taco and substituted it with delicious steak taco.

Had the 4Alarm Blaze margarita…lives up to the name with a kick. Service was good. Atmosphere fun, the music is all club remixes so hypes up the vibe. Tacos are solid and definitely a fusion…but the drinks and atmosphere are what you’re paying for here
