I went there with a friend, who lives nearby, for dinner one January evening. We didn’t make reservations—so we didn’t get seats next to the waterfront—but we could see those seats and appreciate why people love those seats. We ordered two salads. Both were tasty and plentiful. The cost was not too high, considering the location of the restaurant. The service was pretty good. I hope to go back there, with a reservation, to enjoy the waterfront seats some day.

I hosted a corporate team event at Mission Rock Resort. Everything was seamless, from the booking/contract process via TripleSeat, to partnering with Monique before the event date, to working with Kelsea and her onsite team on the event night itself. Food/drinks/atmosphere were all 10/10. I’m excited to host more events here! Thanks Mission Rock Resort team!

It was my first visit here and I had a perfect experience.
Oyster of the day were the best I’ve had, I ordered them twice because it was very fresh.
Of course other plates are excellent as well.
It’s a 15 min Uber ride from the city center, so if you want to have a leisurely meal, make sure to come here.

It was a sunny Saturday and we decided to seek out a spot for an afternoon lunch with a water view. We decided on Mission Rock and were happy to find parking pretty easily and got seated upstairs. So far so good. My friend tried a mimosa made with grapefruit juice while I stuck with water. We ordered the ceviche to share. I had the mussels and fries and my friend had a burger with fries. The mimosa was only average as it was difficult to discern the flavors of the grapefruit juice or the bubbly, which I believe was Prosecco. The ceviche was sadly served with either fried flour tortillas or wonton strips. They were so stale it was hard to tell. The ceviche itself lacked citrus and could’ve used a bit more salt. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to get the attention of the server to ask for more lime. Inexplicably, they serve the mussels and fries in the same dish. So my request for crispy fries was overwritten by the fact that they were soaking in the mussel cooking sauce. The mussels themselves were OK although I had to discard three or four. The burger looked really delicious, but my eating partner was underwhelmed with the flavor of the overcooked beef and the size of the patty. The fries were served in a cone shaped dish and were nestled in a sheet of paper. We both laughed when we realized that the paper was an old menu that had been cut up. Not very appetizing to think that the food you are eating has been sitting on an old menu that who knows how many people have touched.

Great place near the waterfront. Beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. Went to try out cocktails which turned out to be mediocre. The bar looks great but for some reason the drinks are a little disappointing. Pina colada was purely coconut milk topped with extremely sweet cream. We returned it and they were more than willing to exchange it for Margaritas, which turned out it be much decent. The Old Fashioned drink is renamed here as New Fashioned and was overly sweet. It lacked the main ingredient of bourbon and was purely low cost Germain liqueur. The glass it was served in seemed unhygienic. French fries were great, well made and crispy almost to perfection. Didn’t wanted to order anything more since we lost our appetite. The place is great but unfortunately the drinks were disappointing today. SF chronicle and other food blogshighly recommend this place for happy hour but I doubt if they have been here to try it out themselves. I am sure the food here is great but will give it a try so time soon.

Mission Rock Resort is a fantastic spot that combines incredible food with stunning views. The oysters are absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. They’re a must-try for any seafood lover. The rest of the menu is just as impressive, with dishes that are well-crafted and delicious.
What truly elevates the experience is the view. Overlooking the water, it’s the perfect setting for a relaxing meal or a special occasion. The ambiance is laid-back yet classy, making it ideal for both casual outings and more formal gatherings.
If you’re looking for great food and a beautiful waterfront dining experience, Mission Rock Resort is the place to go. Highly recommended!

This is a great spot right near Chase Center. Service was quick and friendly. I had fish and chips and they say that the fish is local rock fish. I will say it was VERY fresh and tasted great. My wife had a Caesar with chicken that was tender and well seasoned. Great atmosphere for lunch or brunch. View of the very industrial waterfront is pretty cool if you’re into that sort of thing. A little on the pricey side would be my main complaint but not outrageous for SF. Street parking was ample at the time we visited (Saturday afternoon with no big events going on).
