The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, helpful, attentive, the ordering is easy, the prices are fair and I find the food spectacular.
BBQ brisket, turkey, pulled pork, pulled chicken have all fricking rocked. At the tables they have a six pack of sauces for you to try if you wish. I really like four of the choices and two are not my cup of tea but I like the idea of letting you experience different flavors.
After you get your food they will come around to your table and chat you up a bit. Not aggressively, just kind of “folksy” to see how you are doing. One woman, Samantha, at the Surprise location my wife and I find to be a wonderful customer service person with a friendly, warm personality. I recommend you keep Samantha!!
Anyway, In my book if you haven’t eaten at Mission BBQ you are missing out. Keep up the good work here Mission team.
The food is always top-notch (brisket and mac & cheese are my favorites), and the atmosphere is patriotic and welcoming. This will be a fantastic addition to the community, and I’ll be one of the first in line on opening day. Welcome to town, Mission BBQ!
Made it in couple days after opening. Brisket was amazing, I ordered the lean cut, tender, perfect smoke flavor and the bark was outstanding! Jalapeño Cheese Sausage was really good but will get classic next time. Mac and Cheese was really good, as were the Baked Beans. 6 different sauces on the table, favorite was Memphis followed by Texas. Also got to try sample of Turkey with Alabama White Sauce, amazing will be getting that next time. Bonus, the Sweet Tea is actually sweet! Overall exceptionally delicious and great customer service! Highly recommend!
Update; second visit was equally good as first, tried the Classic Sausage this time, really good! Memphis BBQ sauce is growing on me, smoky deliciousness.
Update: Tried the Baby Back Ribs, I’m addition to getting brisket again. They were really good, fall off the bone tender. Green Beans are also really good. This place is very consistent and outstanding customer service!
Update: Fried their Smoked Cheeseburger, it was really good, being smoked it was well done but the flavor was worth it. Bun and cheese were also good. French fries were crispy and fresh.
My party got 3 a three meat deal and 10 ribs. Mission BBQ is order up front, pickup up front with a very fast service time. The meats (pork, chicken, brisket, ribs) do not come pre-sauced and instead the customer applies their own. They offer 6 different sauces (Memphis Bell and Smoky Mountain are the best). Overall good BBQ, however without sufficient sauce the ribs are a bit dry, the brisket was not very tender and the chicken was a bit bland. Still good food for a good price. Would recommend, especially to patriotic individuals or veterans (they offer several discounts).
Ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and it was definitely satisfying! My brisket was tender and juicy, NOT dry at all!
The smoky mountain bbq sauce as well as the Memphis belle are definitely my favorites.
Their sweet tea is good as well.
Will come back for sure!
This was a tough one. So I’m going to have to break it into tiers.

***** Unique and delicious food
5 Stars
Mac and Cheese – nice crust on top, creamy but not goopy with good flavor.
Green Beans – great flavor and nice pieces of bacon.
Potato Salad – light and not overly creamy. Fresh and crunchy vegetables that provided a nice texture contrast that I really enjoyed!
BBQ Sauces – an actual wide range of different sauces and flavor profiles. My favorites were the Baja and Tupelo.
Brownie – maybe the best restaurant brownie I’ve ever had. Rich but not. Chewy but a little bit of crunch on the edge.
4 Stars
Jalapeño & Cheese Sausage – nice balance of heat and sweet. Not too spicy at all. Really nice overall flavor.
Classic Sausage – A quality, well prepared, simple piece of sausage.
Baby Back Ribs (not pictured) – in the middle of fall off the bone and doesn’t fall off the bone. I enjoyed the texture difference. Nice subtle flavors.
Fries – lightly salted, crispy and had unique flavor and texture.
Pulled Pork – nice smoke flavor with little parts charred providing texture and more flavor.

Brisket – On two separate days, the brisket here was just okay. Okay flavor. The moist cuts and lean cuts were dry and lacked a good bark (for my liking), and not much of a smoke ring.
CornBread – this is hit or miss. Day one is was dry, day two it was softer. Both days it was just cornbread, nothing special.
Strawberry Shortcake – the strawberries were sliced to a perfect size. The cake was not dry. It was good, but like the cornbread, it was simply okay.
Overall, the prices are more than reasonable compared to other BBQ restaurants. Their sides and brownies are absolutely delicious. I hope the Brisket gets better. Open for 2 days now!
The atmosphere is very family friendly and extremely welcoming. The staff are very attentive, friendly and professional.
