Best ribs I have ever had! The brisket, either moist or lean, was delicious. The pulled pork and turkey were also great! The fries may look dark in appearance, but they were very tasty. You can’t go wrong with the beans or mac and cheese. I loved the atmosphere and the many sauces to choose from! I look forward to this being my new favorite BBQ restaurant!

My girlfriend had the brisket and I had a half rack of ribs(tiny). They were both incredibly dry like they were from the day before. My ribs were so salty I couldn’t taste the smoke or the rub. They were so small too. First and last time eating here. The”Mission” should be not serve overcooked food like that. Check picture. I paid $15 for this

We went around 5pm and the salmon was hard as a rock and not fresh. The other meats were good but a bit dry. Sides were good and the cherry cheese cake was good but small portion. Staff were really nice and helpful. We will try again but a little later in the evening as it seemed to pick up around 6-6:30p. Maybe it will be fresh. Seems as though everything is also à la cart so not combos. Overall it was decent.

Absolutely amazing. What a treat. Rustic but modern vibes, amazing portions and sides, the meat is delicious on its own, but the sauces they provide are an experience. Truly a culinary experience, plus supporting veterans and active forces is a lingering aftertaste that doesn’t really fade. The interior is spacious and quiet enough to hold a nice conversation with your friends or family, which is a rare atmosphere nowadays.

This place was outstanding the food and the service! We are picky on our BBQ- from KC and lived in Texas. I can say this is the best BBQ in Phoenix and pulls up pretty close to the best of Texas. Not only great food ( we had the brisket, jalapeño sausage, pulled pork, ribs, Mac n Cheese, and fresh cut fries- which tasted like Arthur Bryants) but the everyone genuinely had great hospitality! The atmosphere is relaxed – with all the nostalgia that makes you proud to be an American when you leave. Well done!!!!

The food is sooo good. Turkey and brisket flavorful and moist! The fries are nice and crunchy but soft at the same time! Sweet team and lemonade is very good! The customer service is sooo awesome. John is so kind and very knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. His smile is infectious. William is awesome too he broke down the different sauces for us, got us to go containers and bags and made us feel very welcomed. This place has great food and hospitality. Very clean restaurant. I’m definitely gonna come back.

It was an amazing experience for myself, my wife and my 89yo Mom! The staff was incredible, friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was enjoyable. At noon everything came to a stop as the National Anthem was played. It’s the quintessential patriotic American restaurant. Best overall casual dining experience ever!

Coming from Houston, I have high standards for BBQ. We stopped in yesterday—I had the brisket sandwich and my friend had the pulled pork. Both were cooked very well and the texture was great. They also have a solid variety of sauces to choose from. However, the meat itself was lacking flavor. Without the sauce, it just tasted like plain cooked meat rather than smoked BBQ. Also, I was hoping to add a slice of cheese to the sandwich, but didn’t see an option for it. Good spot, but needs more seasoning/smoke on the meat.

As a proud Texas southern belle visiting Paradise Valley, Mission BBQ stole my heart—and my appetite! The place is beautifully decorated to honor first responders and all branches of the military, including a flag in the window representing the owners’ four children who actively serve.
From the warm welcome by Terri, David, and Nelly to the amazing service from Ahmad and Courtney, every staff member made me feel like family. The food? Phenomenal. I had the chopped beef sandwich with Smokey Mountain and KC Classic sauces mixed, fresh-cut fries, and a bottled Big Red. On my second visit (yes, I went back!), I enjoyed the juicy Darn Good Turkey, green beans, coleslaw, and a birthday treat—red velvet cake!
The pride, passion, and patriotism at Mission BBQ are unmatched. I usually don’t dine at the same place twice while traveling, but Mission BBQ changed that.

I wholeheartedly open the doors of Texas and say—come on over and bless us with your Q!
Mission BBQ has earned a permanent spot on my travel list whenever I return to Paradise Valley.

Y’all don’t walk—run to this place. You’ll leave with a full belly and a fuller heart.
