The food always hits the mark here. I know it’s a chain, but it’s the best barbecue we’ve found in the area. All aspects are what you’d expect from American barbecue from the brisket, the sweet tea, the rotating black plate special, and desserts. When they have cobblers, we’d go just to get cobblers. At some Mission BBQs, the cornbread tastes like how Payless used to smell, but this place does not. The atmosphere can be intimidating for someone that associates patriotism with partisanship, but they are purely service themed and non-partisan, just steer clear around noon if you have scar tissue from being caught outside on base at 0800.

I’m in hospitality I’m a manager at hotel so I appreciate great customer service. The food was amazing had the brisket and ribs and fries and the brisket beans, don’t judge. That was all great, but as soon as I walked through the door which was a little distance from the counter I was greeted immediately. My to go order was ready and the counter workers showed the food before bagging it so I saw everything was correct. I was filling my drink and couldn’t find the straw and I believe a manager was there and she helped me right away and explained the different sauces for me. I was just really impressed top to bottom great job

My wife and I love the food, the staff, and the patriotic atmosphere here. Today we tried the chicken wing special, and I’ll tell you—I’m a huge wing fan, and these are now my absolute favorite. The flavor was incredible, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fall-off-the-bone tender on the inside.

We’d love to see these added to the daily menu or at least offered as a monthly special. If you love wings, you’ve got to give these a try—you won’t be disappointed.

We may even go back tomorrow!

Their pull pork was very dry and old. We had gotten the samples with three choices of meat. Pull pork, two bones of ribs, and jeapeno sausage with cheese. HATED!!! THEY’RE TERRIBLE and will never eat from there again!! I complain of the pull pork and they had the a destiny to get an attitude over our 22 dollars and NO sides( was extra)!! STOOOOOP IT. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Delicious carnivore food! The jalapeno cheese sausage hits just right and the cheesy potatoes are perfect! Caramel bread pudding is the perfect end to it as well. I personally love the national anthem played at noon and the participation of everyone in the restaurant, including those just entering.

This is the 3rd location of the Mission chain which I have visited, consistency is everything. Juicy tender brisket and pulled pork. I love the garlic butter on the corn cob. The seasonal banana pudding is awesome, just the right amount of sweetness and flavor.
Great little outdoor space next to a pond inside of a strip mall. Same awesome military appreciation theme. Thank you for your service!

Service was on point and the place has a cool vibe to it with its heavy focus on veterans and those on active duty.
Food was OK, but did not live up to expectations.
I ordered:
– Pulled pork sandwich (a bit bland, not much smoke flavor)
– Sliced brisket (OK flavor, but fat not rendered properly and most bark was cut away)
– Jalapeño & Cheddar sausage (very flavorful and good sausage)
– Mac’n Cheese (cheesy and very tasty)
– Potato salad (flavors were OK, but every potato cube was undercooked and hard so it was “not edible “…)

The best part about this place are the workers. They were very friendly and helpful. Although I have had better bbq this was still extremely delicious. Definitely a fan of the cheesy potatoes. Was not a fan of the corn. The Mac n cheese was ok but with full transparency I’m not a fan of the Mac n cheese I have at most places.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere, very fitting for the name.
But once again I stress, the workers were the best!! Put a smile on my face.

Always good food. I ordered to go between normal lunch and dinner. No wait to order and few customers in dining area. I really appreciate their support for military veterans and LEOs! Semper Fi!

I ordered a 2qt Mac & Cheese takeout for a dinner. My family loves Mission BBQ already but the people at the dinner loved the Mac & Cheese and asked where I got it so I told them, Mission BBQ! They said that they need to visit. Two Thumbs Up!
