This past Veterans Day I had an experience at Mission BBQ that gave me so much more than full stomach. Since I left the military 17 years ago nothing has felt like this did. It didn’t solve all my problems but it did give me some healing to some things that have hurt for a long time and some feelings that needed to be addressed. I was not looking for that, but that’s what happened at Mission barbecue on Veterans Day for me. For the first time in 17 years, I stood in a room full of other service members and saluted the flag while singing the national anthem and then said the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Although I’m not a singer, so I apologize for the sound of my voice in the video, but it was a very wonderful experience and I’m so grateful to Mission barbecue for facilitating it. I’m grateful to them for everything they do for the people that serve this country from military to firefighters and police officers. This is a wonderful place to support. On top of all that the food is amazing they give wonderful barbecue. I had a chopped brisket sandwich that was absolutely delicious and their sides are just as good. I had mac & cheese as I do every time I go there but highly recommend it for the food but also because you know that you’re supporting a wonderful business that cares about this country And gives back to it. You’re a very meaningful way. Thank you Mission barbecue!!!!

We came in at the end of the night after a long hike and had never been here before so we took a chance. We were definitely Not disappointed. The manager personally gave us samples of the sides we were curious about and some of the meats so we were happy with our choices. It was hard to choose because everything was so good and you could tell it was real ingredients and made fresh. My boyfriend is from Texas so for him to love the brisket as much as he did is a big deal for us. The sauces were exceptional and even had a kick to some of them which we loved! Also, a nice surprise was the free dessert when it’s your first time in. Strawberry shortcake was on the menu and it was just as tasty as everything else. We are looking forward to our next visit and it’s pretty cool the dessert and black plate special change every 6 weeks so you can try new things! Thanks for a great experience for two hungry hikers, lol. We highly recommend.

We have a group of ladies that gather from our neighborhood the first Tuesday of each month. We pull a name from the cup before our lunch ends to know where we are going the next month.
Today was Mission BB!!
Wow! Seriously, the kindness from the Register Man and the Kitchen Man and the Chef were above and beyond.
They explained their menu, the pricing, what they offered even before we ordered.
I was so impressed with the service. They were proud of what they offered. I loved it!
They had 6 different sauces at the table. I chose the Smokey Mountain sauce. I prefer sweet BBQ. DELISH! Exceptional pulled pork sandwich and the baked beans were something to write home about.
The cherry cheese cake was delightful!
All in all this made for a memorable meal and the folks just did exceptional making us feel welcome and at home!
Yay! Mission BBQ!

First of all it smells SO GREAT inside. The girl at the front was so friendly and I even bought one of their cups that goes to their donation programs. It was my first time in and they gave me a free sandwich card and a complimentary red velvet cake to go. Their burger and pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the bests I’ve had in a long time. Sides were wonderful and full of flavor. I will definitely be bringing some family members back to support this awesome restaurant!

The food was great and the service even better. We walked in for our first time on Mother’s day and was greeted at the door with flowers, candy and free picture. She assisted us in how to order and such, after receiving our food we were then given complementary peach cobbler and samples of sausage, and cards to come back. Super friendly. The staff even had a dog bowl ready for a service dog that came in. 100% recommend.

Had planned to go to another BBQ place but decided to try something different. Ordered the pulled brisket, yet they were out. How can you be out within less than an hour of opening? Do paid more and got the sliced brisket. Food was good, yet very expensive. A sandwich alone was over $14.00. Had ordered a meal but was not charged it. Didn’t get it either. Of the 6 sauces, I only liked only one. But that is personal preference. I am happy of the support they give to Veterans.

Good BBQ, great service and a very pro-American, pro military atmosphere, even if most of the military pics are of this who’ve died. Lots of parking, lots of seating. Cobbler good; green beans were spicy, brisket also solid. Not sure if I can truly say it better than Edley’s or Sugars

This is my first time at Mission BBQ and the staff was so friendly and helpful as I placed my order. I love the vibe and decor in the place and the homage to military and first responders. The brisket was delicious as well as the green beans and I absolutely loved the smoky Mountain barbecue saucedefinitely a place I would come to again, and I must try!

From the hearty greeting, as I walked through the doors, to the amazing brisket. Mission Bbq were on a mission to make me a returning customer. Their mission to give back to our vets and active service is truly inspiring. Service was very friendly. I will say the red velvet cake was a bit dry, but I ate it all regardless.

Having enjoyed the wonderful pull pork on my last visit, I tried out the smoked salmon. It was perfectly seasoned and moist. My grandson loved his brisket and mac n cheese. The service is wonderful and management took personal interest to see that our meals were what at his highest standard. It was a great experience.
