This restaurant is truly delicious. They specialize in smoked meats: the smoked pork ribs and the baby back ribs are incredibly tender and flavorful. The brisket is also highly recommended; it’s excellent. Even the French fries have a special touch that makes them stand out. The atmosphere is classic American with a retired military theme, paying tribute to veterans through its decoration.

I ordered the cheeseburger. While my companions were very satisfied with their meals, I prefer my meat well-done. They explained to me that because the meat is smoked, it naturally stays juicy and looks pink/red inside, but personally, I don’t enjoy eating it that way.

The service, however, was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. I asked for my meat to be cooked more, and they brought out a new burger, but it was still too juicy and red for my taste, so I decided to take it home for someone else to enjoy. Without me even asking for help, a waiter apologized, explained the process, and brought us a gift card for a sandwich on our next visit.

Later, the manager came over, apologized again, and brought a new bill where he had discounted the cheeseburger. He even insisted on preparing something else for me to take home, like brisket with salad, which is very delicious, I totally recommend. I really didn’t expect this level of attention! The service is outstanding, the place is very clean, spacious, and pleasant. Plus, the prices are great for the high quality of smoked meats they serve. Highly recommended!

I am allergic to pork and beef. I always go in for their turkey. They asked if I had allergies. When I said yes, it was announced and everyone went in the back. New cutting board, new knife, new piece of turkey, new gloves. I was so impressed that they took cross contamination so seriously, but I have to say it is so appreciated. The staff at this location is phenomenal and the turkey, wow. One of the few places I eat turkey at. Thank you all so much.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Mission BBQ. The BBQ meat itself was flavorful and tender, but is definitely a BBQ plate that requires a sauce—which they have TONS to choose from. (Our favorite was the vinegar sauce)

The counter based service was fast and friendly, making for a good overall experience.

I stopped by this location Mission BBQ right when they opened this morning—pregnancy cravings in full swing—and the team could not have been sweeter about it! They greeted me with smiles, made sure everything was hot and fresh, and didn’t blink an eye when I ordered half the menu. The food hit every craving—tender brisket, smoky pulled pork, and the perfect sauces. It honestly made my whole morning. Thank you for being so kind and making me feel totally welcome!

I hate to do this, but I think the place is just slightly overrated. Portion sizes don’t seem all that great, and eating it doesn’t seem fulfilling even though it’s mainly protein. It’s hard to justify spending money here when there are other places that are cheaper and give you more fulfilling food.

The service and atmosphere are good, at least.

This was our first time visiting Mission BBQ, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. We arrived right at noon and were greeted by the Star Spangled Banner being played. It was such a beautiful and moving moment, setting the tone with a sense of pride and patriotism that carried through the whole visit.

The food itself was outstanding — hearty portions of tender, flavorful meat and a huge variety of sauces that made it fun (and tough!) to pick a favorite. But honestly, while the food was excellent, it was the people who truly made this visit so special. From the very beginning, the cashier warmly welcomed us, took the time to explain the menu, and gave thoughtful recommendations since it was our first time. When our food was ready, Paul personally acknowledged our first visit and kindly offered to help carry everything to our table. Even after our meal, a lady in the dining room offered to take our plates — a simple gesture that showed just how much they care about their guests.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with music at just the right level, and everywhere we looked were heartfelt tributes honoring those who have served our country. It’s clear that Mission BBQ isn’t just about great food — it’s about honoring service, celebrating community, and creating a place where people feel welcomed and proud.

The food was the plus. The real highlight was the people and the strong sense of patriotism that made our first visit so memorable. Mission BBQ has definitely won us over, and we’ll be back!

PS
We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures but nonetheless it looked AND tasted amazing!
