If you know anything about Cordell, then you know there is virtually no other place. That’s good to eat. I’ve been in Cordell for over a month now and I did not even know that Cracker Barrel was there because the signs are practically invisible. They’re too small. They’re turned in the wrong directions and there’s no sign on 16 East St. That you can see, at night there’s a sign that is lit up but it’s not lit up very well and it’s turned in the wrong direction then there’s a little sign as you go over to the Home Depot, but you don’t even notice it. It’s so small and then the restaurant is turned towards the freeway instead of towards the streets and so it’s really really hard to see.
I’ve been here for a month and I wish I had known it was here. I would’ve eaten there every single night for breakfast and dinner. It is so good and the people are so professional and hard-working and sweet and nice and kind that I can’t say enough about it if you’re anywhere in Cordele or near Cordell eat breakfast there eat lunch there eat dinner there you won’t be disappointed, and if for some reason you are, they will make it right with a smile on their face.
My server‘s name was Alivia And she’s the sweetest kindest nicest server I’ve ever had very professional. The manager KayLee and I don’t think it’s spelled quite like that but she also is really kind, conscientious, hard-working, and very Professional.
The food was great. I had the pot roast stew and it was delicious. I also had the turnip greens, but it was served with some meat and I would’ve preferred it without the meat so next time I’ll get a different side I can’t wait to try all the different sizes eventually. Because I’m gonna go there every other day for dinner
I’m working in Cordell and I would’ve been so thankful if I had known that Cracker Barrel was there from The beginning….
If anybody needs a good word, there’s a beautiful little church called Midway Church off of Highway 257 about a mile down the road on the right hand side on Midway Church Drive services at 10 AM. They have dinners every third Friday of every month this Third Friday they’re going to celebrate Oktoberfest so bring everybody and get some free hotdog and food. Bring your family and friends everybody’s welcome
Miracles happen at the church! If you need prayer or a miracle come every Sunday at 10 AM.

We arrived at the Cordele Cracker Barrel at 1:15 PM and did not receive any service until 1:35 PM—and even then, it wasn’t the server assigned to our table. We finally received our food at 2:20 PM, which is an excessive wait for a simple meal.
I ordered the bacon hash brown casserole, and it tasted old and unpleasant. My mom ordered country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and fried apples. The steak was dry, and the mashed potatoes were cold, dry, and not edible. There were also rotted pieces of potato in them. She ordered coffee as well, and the cup it was served in was dirty, which was extremely unappetizing.
Overall, the food quality and service were unacceptable. This was a very disappointing experience, and we will not be returning to this location

Stopped in for breakfast on the way up north! Staff were very friendly! Food was a little cold but still good! It’s Cracker Barrel so the atmosphere was great and the coffee was hot!

The waitress was very nice and helpful. When my aunt got her food ( children and dumplings there was something on the side of her bowl ( looked like something that’s comes out of a humans mouth) send it back the waitress brought her another bowl, and said she took it off the bill. I think I shouldn’t have paid for any of it. The manger was aware of what was going on but never once came to our table to apologize. This was Cracker Barrel in Cordele Ga

We had a wonderful lunch at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store today, and it was such a great experience from start to finish! The food was delicious, fresh, and exactly what you hope for when you walk through those doors; comforting, hearty, and full of flavor.
The service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right without hovering. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and every request was handled with a smile.
The atmosphere is always charming and welcoming. The place feels like stepping back into a simpler time. Between the cozy dining room and the fun country store to browse before and after the meal, it turns lunch into more than just a meal it’s an experience.
Everything was spot-on, and we left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Cracker Barrel is always a solid choice for a comforting, home-style meal. The service is consistently friendly and efficient, making each visit a pleasant experience. Whether stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is reliably good—warm, hearty, and just like homemade. From their fluffy biscuits and gravy to classic breakfast selections, the quality and flavor remain consistent across locations.
Beyond the food, the country store adds a fun touch to the visit. It’s always enjoyable to browse the unique gifts, nostalgic candies, and seasonal décor while waiting for a table or after a meal. Cracker Barrel is the perfect place to go for a delicious meal, great service, and some fun shopping.

We stayed in cordele, Georgia and stop at the cracker barrel. Always had a great experience in the past but the food and the service in this town was absolutely horrible. It took an hour and 20 minutes just to get our food. Had to get up and ask for a refill on the drinks and even the steak, sauces and ketchup because the waitress was too busy walking in and out from her car.. I think it may be a while before I will go back to any of them

Just left there. We had a large party of 13 or 14. They sat us right away, in a more secluded area. The two servers attending our tables were great. Smiles and friendliness the whole time. I didn’t catch our other servers name but one of them was Shekerria T. Drinks and food was out pretty quickly, especially for a large group on a Sunday. All requests were tended to in a timely manner. Good was tasty and as expected. We never felt rushed, and that’s was really nice bc we were celebrating a very late Christmas and a 60th birthday and it was nice to be able to spend time together. Kudos to the whole team!

Meatloaf was served cold twice. Manager never followed up why it happened. Blamed it on poor help. Comped my meal. Maybe if she did the job she was supposed to do it would have been right the second time. Never came back to check on us. Waitress with mask standing by the kitchen entrance doing nothing the whole time we waited for my meal. Place is a joke!!

Well, ordered my daughter grilled tenders that came out burnt that you can’t cut through it. Then asked for it to be redone and they served partially raw chicken on both our plates . Didn’t comp our meals originally. I asked to have my daughters comped due to obvious health risk to a 2 year old as I didnt have my redone meal on the table yet to find it was the same. Inedible meals should all rightfully be comp. The manager was nice but huge mistakes at an already busy and filthy Cracker Barrel. I am always kind to staff because you never know what went on in their day but we also can’t overlook the danger it is serving raw chicken or the presentation of completely burnt plates and still having to pay something after the wait and trouble
