I’m writing this as my oven preheats as I was really disappointed with the portions issued for my Thanksgiving Catered Meal ordered this holiday. The meal was so attractive to be less then $200 (XL Thanksgiving Holiday Meal) marketed to yield 12-15 servings and came with reheat instructions. Upon pickup, that didn’t appear to be the case. With the holiday the very next day, I’m left cooking to substitute the lack of servings, and sold out sides selected, for my family, the very thing we were trying to avoid this year in ordering from Mission BBQ—eliminating anyone having to cook. I might’ve been better off requesting individual cups of the sides to truly see my moneys worth. Super disappointed because it’s just no way the sides would yield that advertised servings. I ordered sweet potatoes a week in advance, and still was informed upon pickup, that was oversold and I could make another selection. All my sides didn’t even come packed in the foil pans which was visibly deeper and longer in length of packaging.

Today I visited the owings mills location to get lunch after work with my husband. Well after paying $55 for 2 meals we thought the food would be 10/10 just like our Local Ellicott City location where we live. Boy were we wrong! The food was 1/10 alongside the lady who served us our food. She had a nasty attitude. The place wasn’t very welcoming at all. Ill never step foot in that facility ever again. To be more specific about the food, it was dry, very hard(overcooked), and flavorless! I can build a sand castle with the mac n cheese. Disappointing at its finest. We should’ve waited until til we reached near home to eat.

It was my first time at Mission BBQ. I was greeted as soon as I walked in which was a pleasant surprise. Then, Jayden and Josh made my whole experience top tier. Since it was my first time ever, I had questions. They were funny, polite, patient and respectful. I will definitely come back because of them. Then, as my friend and I ate in the dining area, Felipe, was attentive to not only us but everyone. He was helping to get everything cleaned, he gave us things before we asked for it. He was very polite and respectful. All 3 of these young men deserves a raise!!!!

Hmmm so I was not super WOWED by the food but I was very impressed with the inclusive patriotic decor. First time at a MB and didn’t realize that their image/motto is “The American Way”. So much American and local history on the walls of this establishment, pretty neat and it definitely can aid in some pretty cool talking points/conversation starters.
My Meal – I went with the smoked salmon, mac & cheese, collard greens and a sweet tea. Since it was my first time I let the front end cashier guide to these selections and I was pleasantly pleased with how the salmon came turned out. The mac & cheese was basic with what I think were some bread crumbs on top, the greens were seasoned better than I thought, so I’d rate my meal a 7 out of 10. All the items are a-la-cart and the pricing was pretty much in alignment with what it costs to eat out these days. Pretty decent experience and I may go back to try some of their other menu items.

The vibe is where it’s at! Everyone is exceptionally amazing. Customer service to the food…. ✍ Justin is the manager. He was awesome as well…. Tayveon it’s amazing. He treated me with great customer service explained every entrée they had on the menu was very thorough with how they make it…. Five star for sure!

The food here is way above average. I wish they had different baked beans sides because theirs has a little bit too much zesty tang and it drowns out the flavor of the meat. The corn bread was good. Wish hush puppies were on the menu. Overall, I’m comparing their bbq to Wilburs from Goldsboro NC. If Wilburs is a 10, Mission BBQ is an 8.

Food is always amazing, especially when they have BBQ shrimp on the menu. If not I order the turkey meat market, with 2 sides and fries. It’s more than enough for me and my husband to share. Love their creamed corn and Mac and cheese. Always a great atmosphere with wonderful staff. 100% recommend, plus they support our veterans and first responders always. That’s so important to me

This was my first time to this mission bbq. I’ve been to other locations and have had a nice experience . When I arrived the server greeted me and I placed my order at the register and went and got my drink while I was waiting for my food to come up. I ordered a pulled pork platter with fries and a refill of my plastic cup that I purchased at a different location. Before I could fill up my drink my order was already ready. I put hot barbecue sauce on my meat and then sat down with the group I was meeting with.
My food was good and my portion size was a little larger than when I got a two meat platter at a previous Mission BBQ. I enjoyed it, the fries were delicious, the cornbread was good but a little bit dry. When I finished there were staff members that were coming around and taking our trays which was very nice and very helpful. All in all a good experience, good food, a clean restaurant, clean restrooms, and a nice atmosphere. I’ll be back.

This was absolutely wonderful! It was the first visit for my Husband and I at this particular Mission BBQ,and the food was delicious! We were delighted! No hassles or long lines or whatever,just friendly people who are working there and quick service.My Husband had salmon ,green beans,sweet potato;I had turkey sandwich and apple caramel cobbler.He loved his meal,I loved mine!There is a gentleman who works there,and he came over to ask us how we were doing,very personable and professional.I think he is an employee to hang onto! I told him that Mission BBQ should come to the Eldersburg/Sykesville area! He is Mr.Personality+ and I would love to see a Mission BBQ out where we live,with him as the Manager!THAT would be “DYNO-MITE”!!!

I don’t come here for the atmosphere, but the staff and food are incredible! Tayvion was super helpful and could answer questions before the person who was actually helping me. He hooked me up with a new favorite sauce, too. My interactions are always pleasant when I’m here, but his service was over the top great. The brisket and fries were spectacular, too!
