We’ve always loved this restaurant and have enjoyed it on various locations. Today, the sides and dessert were delicious, but we were very disappointed with the meat. My Brisket was tough and incredibly dry, as if it had been sitting out for ages. I’d ordered the moist portion, but it wasn’t moist at all; it tasted almost like jerky. The server was very gracious and asked about the negative comments, but she offered to give us some juice for our meat. I declined, as I believe restaurants should hold themselves to a higher standard for meat quality. Meat that doesn’t meet expectations shouldn’t be served, and it’s more acceptable to replace it with a more acceptable, delicious piece. Today, we celebrated my husband’s birthday at one of our favorite restaurant, but the meal was incredibly disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We’d originally wanted to order more wings, but my husband’s BBQ dinner was cold, my son’s ribs was dry, and my Brisket… I’ve never had such terrible BBQ, so we didn’t want to risk spending the extra money. The sides and dessert were delicious, though; therefore, I’m not giving it a single star. A truly disappointing experience.

Collards are great. String beans not so much! Mac n cheese was good. Pulled pork wasn’t to bad. Coleslaw was pretty decent

Today was our first visit and as a Army National gaurd and US Navy Veteran I would have to say I was very pleased, not just with the great atmosphere and decor but how they treat there customers and especially veterans. Now to the food, my wife and I each got the half chicken combo, I got the potato salad and she got the mac n cheese, our daughter got the pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese. It was all very good and decent portion. They even gave me a free desert. Each meal averaged about $15 which we expected in this day and time highly recommended this place. We look forward to coming back. Oh and yes they have ample parking, handicap and yes even Veteran parking.

The food was really good and affordable.You get a good portion, which I appreciate.I loved all the different sauces to choose from and how things were set up. It’s very unique. The staff was kind, and the atmosphere pays so much respect to police, military, firefighters, and other first responders. It’s such a wonderful restaurant with a story and a purpose. My first time being there was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The food, the staff, the manager everybody was fantastic. Those had to be some of the best ribs that I’ve ever had in my life. In addition the pulled pork and brisket was second to none. Definitely going to be back. Thank you!

The food is sooooo good, like every single thing we got was so delicious. We tried the majority of their sides and the brisket all of it was divine….and Ms Courtney was so cute – you could tell she really loves her job. We will definitely be back!

I always get the 2 meat sampler, jalapeño Cheddar sausage and the moist brisket with fries. I have never had a bad meal here. If you never have been here try it once, you’ll be hooked.

Love this place. We are very price sensitive these days but this is one of the few places I feel like you get your money’s worth. It’s tasty, consistent food and with all the sauce options there are so many combos. We dont really buy beef in-store anymore so it’s a treat to come here and indulge a bit. Love how it is patriotic/military themed (army family here) but not political.

My husband and I both got the moist brisket sandwich, he got fries, I got cheesy potatoes. Service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was laid back. The food was delicious. Not over smoky flavor, very tender meat. The fries were great, fresh cut style. I did not make it to my cheesy potatoes but will eat them later. The restaurant itself was clean. Definitely worth the price.

The brisket used to be so good, and I mean perfection. I was anticipating this meal only to be disappointed. I sadly opened the meal at home to mainly gristle and fat which made it inedible. Very greasy and fatty. Times before, you received great quality for what you paid for. This time, not so much.
