A hidden gem in Amherst! Coming from Texas, where Asian food and pho are everywhere, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was tasty and the portion is just right for its price. The restaurant is cozy and lively, and the service is excellent. Definitely a must-visit when in the area.

This place is amazing. As a Northampton resident, I make sure everyone drives over the bridge if they say they like Asian food and tries this place out. When I walked in, I was planning to get banh mi, but someone next to me got the number 25 special, Miss Saigon, and it looked amazing. So I gave it a try, and it is absolutely awesome. The bowl feels like it never runs out of noodles and meat—super filling, super healthy, super delicious.

Since I started going this winter, I’ve come back maybe seven or eight times and gotten either pho, noodles, banh mi, and tons of other good meals (and a delicious steamed taro dessert!). It can get really busy, so call and get a reservation or come when it isn’t crowded. But this place is absolutely worth a try. The flavor is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the value is exceptional. I love this place and will definitely be back. It’s quickly become one of my favorite restaurants!

The restaurant was a bit “dirty”, torn seats, messy entrance. The food was so so. I’ve had better pho. Reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff though.

Miss Saigon is a staple in the Amherst area, serving cheap Vietnamese food to hungry college students from both the UMass Amherst and Amherst College campuses.

The atmosphere is alright. It does get very crowded especially for dinnertime, and the service may be a bit slower than usual when they are busy. However, they do check-in on you and food comes out very quickly. The place is a little dim, especially during night, but it isn’t too loud in the restaurant.

I’ve tried multiple items on the menu, and I think the Pho Dac Biet is very good here. The portion size is alright, however I do believe the portion size has gotten smaller over time, as I remember having larger bowls. However, the price of the dishes are very cheap and the food is of great quality when compared to the price. I also highly recommend the Crab Udon Soup here, it is one of the best dishes i’ve had on the menu.

For appetizers, I’ve tried the Spicy Crab Rangoon and the Pork Eggrolls. They are both very crispy and the dipping sauce goes well with the dishes.

When I was getting the beef soup I was under the impression that it has beef and noodles and that’s all, but it had more than that and these chewy things that I didn’t like. Overall, the soup is still good!

Consistently Very cozy and clean atmosphere, Friendly and genuinely kind staff members and owner. The food nourishes the soul on any day- and is reasonably priced with very generous pirtions and top quality ingredients. Highly recommend!
The Pho and the fresh spring rolls are our favorite things to get but Everything we have had is very good:)

AMAZING! I got the chicken curry noodle soup and the spicy basil fried rice. The spicy crab rangoon was also a hit! Food came fast, hot, and very flavorful. Also extremely inexpensive. Honestly one of the best meals I have ever had, thank you for a great night!

The waitress also drew a cute cat on our receipt, I left so happy:)

Everything was absolutely delicious in this adorable little place.
It has a hole-in-wall/old school diner feel to it, which is very inviting and unpretentious.
We were meeting friends for dinner and ended up here when the other place closed early due to weather. I think it was a blessing in disguise!
I do not know what I ordered (a noodle dish of some kind) as I asked the server for a recommendation, she patiently pointed out the most popular items and I went with one of those. The others orders soups and one order pecan chicken. Everyone said their meal was fantastic.
We had a few appetizers as well, and they were equally enjoyable. Highly recommended the lettuce wraps!
Service was great. Friendly, quick, and efficient.
Excellent value. Prices were great for the portion size and quality.
Maybe I am remembering it with rose colored glasses due to having such a fun evening and showing up ridiculously hungry, but I do not think so. Regardless, I cannot wait to go back!
(Not many photos as we were too occupied with eating!)

Food was good but the service we received was terrible. We come here all the time when we want Vietnamese food, always ask for extra chili oil and fish sauce because they don’t have them out on the table along with the other sauces. We never get charged extra for that. Until today. And no one told us it was gonna be extra when we asked for it. We asked one of the waiters there and they said it’s always been like that, yet somehow they decided to take the fish sauce off the check. $1 for this little thing of condiment if you ever want to spice up your food.
