Since I started going this winter, I’ve come back maybe seven or eight times and gotten either pho, noodles, banh mi, and tons of other good meals (and a delicious steamed taro dessert!). It can get really busy, so call and get a reservation or come when it isn’t crowded. But this place is absolutely worth a try. The flavor is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the value is exceptional. I love this place and will definitely be back. It’s quickly become one of my favorite restaurants!
The atmosphere is alright. It does get very crowded especially for dinnertime, and the service may be a bit slower than usual when they are busy. However, they do check-in on you and food comes out very quickly. The place is a little dim, especially during night, but it isn’t too loud in the restaurant.
I’ve tried multiple items on the menu, and I think the Pho Dac Biet is very good here. The portion size is alright, however I do believe the portion size has gotten smaller over time, as I remember having larger bowls. However, the price of the dishes are very cheap and the food is of great quality when compared to the price. I also highly recommend the Crab Udon Soup here, it is one of the best dishes i’ve had on the menu.
For appetizers, I’ve tried the Spicy Crab Rangoon and the Pork Eggrolls. They are both very crispy and the dipping sauce goes well with the dishes.
The Pho and the fresh spring rolls are our favorite things to get but Everything we have had is very good:)
That was my second time here. Staff members are just awesome. Soups are always great
The waitress also drew a cute cat on our receipt, I left so happy:)
It has a hole-in-wall/old school diner feel to it, which is very inviting and unpretentious.
We were meeting friends for dinner and ended up here when the other place closed early due to weather. I think it was a blessing in disguise!
I do not know what I ordered (a noodle dish of some kind) as I asked the server for a recommendation, she patiently pointed out the most popular items and I went with one of those. The others orders soups and one order pecan chicken. Everyone said their meal was fantastic.
We had a few appetizers as well, and they were equally enjoyable. Highly recommended the lettuce wraps!
Service was great. Friendly, quick, and efficient.
Excellent value. Prices were great for the portion size and quality.
Maybe I am remembering it with rose colored glasses due to having such a fun evening and showing up ridiculously hungry, but I do not think so. Regardless, I cannot wait to go back!
(Not many photos as we were too occupied with eating!)
