Unfortunately we felt judged as tourists in this atmosphere; we were all trying to interact with the staff but they were very unapproachable both times we dined here.
Regardless, delicious tasting, accurately priced traditional Colombian food!

Got a “too good to go” order here for just giving a try in this place. The food is not good at all for 4 bucks. Compare the actual price from the menu. I think this fried chicken with super thick coating does not worth for the visit.

People may have a different opinion than mine, but I am just not really impressed to come back as the first time customer.

Update: I ended up with throwing it into the trash (except the rice)

I ordered delivery through UberEats and the food was so delicious! I ordered a churrasco and my partner ordered a chicken with shrimp and both of the dishes were excellent and super flavorful. Beans were homemade, rice was great as well.

The food is so freaking flavorful this is gonna be my new spot.

I’ve eaten at a lot of Hispanic restaurants being a Hudson county resident for 20 years and I have to say this place is definitely on my top 10. Steak was cooked medium how I liked it very soft and tender with a grilled charcoal taste.

Wonderful, I’m going to try eating inside the restaurant next time. If you have never been here you gotta try it! Trust me.

When you visit a Colombian restaurant in the New Jersey area early in the morning, you have to be prepared to do things: a lot of conversation and social interaction between waitresses and staff with clients, so this leads to two situations: one that Orders are taken badly, orders are delayed, the wait is longer than usual. If you are not in a hurry come to breakfast here, otherwise just ask for a coffee and some of their bakery and takeaway. The breakfast I ordered was plentiful, but insipid and with an “arepa” (colombian pastries) even worse: poorly cooked. The coffee I must say is extraordinary. Parking on the street is limited, but the place is clean, well organized, with good tables and chairs. They have 4 big TV screens and all of course on the Univision channel. A large glass window allows you to see the street if you sit at a nearby table. The waitresses are monolingual, so please do not speak English. The prices are comfortable and it is a site that represents a neighborhood that meets there to share, laugh and recognize in its ethnicity and culture. Above all if they take a wrong order because their continuous chit-chats and therefore distraction them they don’t recognized, get defensive and still you have to pay the order even was not your mistake.

I recently visited this establishment I was extremely disappointed with the service. I had to wait an incredibly long time without anyone even acknowledging my presence. The girl at the register was busy counting money. As someone who works in the food industry I completely understand that it can be busy and that tasks like counting money are important. Acknowledging a customers presence, even with a simple “we’ll be right with you ” can make a huge difference. It shows you value their time and are aware of their presence. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve the customer service experience at your establishment. And if employees state otherwise I have this situation documented on my phone. Thank you.

Beans were great! Portions were huge but apart from beans, even the meat was not so flavorful. They add an automatic tip and credit card charge upfront. Service was good and I would say I will go back only for the beans but nothing else.
