Having moved from NYC, I was missing some cold skin noodles from Xian’s Famous Foods. This was the only place in the Triangle that I’ve found that has something close enough. Overall it is pleasant, spicy yet cool, noodles chewy. However the flavors are not fully there, tastes like a cold glorified Cup Noodles cup. More cucumber, and the addition of cilantro would help out the flavors. I appreciated that all the sauces were separated in my to-go order so the noodles weren’t soggy.

The BEST braised chicken I have EVER eaten!! Healthy and super delicious! The quality of their ingredients is also high. I have tried all stuff on their menu and I can DEFINITELY say that every item is beyond my expectation!! Want to come back once a week!

Get the combo with warm noodle soup, cold noodle and bread pudding. The flavors are subtle (Xian owner) so be ready for that Vs Sichuan food for instance. We liked it overall. The lady who spoke English was wonderful and helpful.

Ordered pickup today and got my order in less than 10 minutes!! All three items I got were delicious! The pork belly sandwich was so tender and the pork fat gave it a slight coconut-like taste. The braised chicken with rice was the winner though! It was sooo tender and was mildly spicy. It does come with bones and chicken skin so it was a bit greasy but I loved the deep soy sauce flavor and the shiitake mushrooms! The Xi’an cold noodles came with three different sauces. Didn’t know what two of them were but dumped them all together and it was good! I think I got less toppings than what other people posted in their Google photos but overall the price was still pretty good for takeout! This place has authentic Chinese flavors, none of that American Chinese takeout. I love this addition to the town of Cary and look forward to (hopefully) more items on their menu! They’re right next to Danny’s BBQ! Takeout or delivery only.

Authentic Xi’an or Shaanxi food! Some of the dishes (glutinous rice & Date cake, Xi’an Special Steam Beef With Flour, etc.) are very rare in North America. It is a delivery-primary restaurant, given that four bar seats are available to dining in.
