I have never been to a place that is in the food business and is so nonchalant and calloused towards another human beings food sensitivities. My aunt had me order a meal with rice noodles as she is allergic to the regular. She said that they offer them and she has ordered them from this restaurant many times.

From the word go it was nothing but drama and a sense of “if you do not like it we do not need your business”. Yet my aunt had said she liked their food so I continued with the order. I asked more then once for rice noodles. While waiting for my food a lady came out and was visible annoyed with my very presence. I asked for extra mushrooms and got my head chewed off. “You have to pay, you have to pay”! She raged. I apologized and said the man who took my order said I could get what I wanted of veggies. Again she raged “You have to pay you have to pay”!” I said nothing waited for the food and took it back to my aunt.

My aunt started eating and I was about to serve myself when she said “these are not rice noodles”. Me not knowing the difference grabbed the plate and went back to the restaurant as my aunt was having some trouble with breathing and her eyes watering. Because she trusted me to get the right food. Thank God it was just a little flare up as she noticed right away.

When I got back to the restaurant to explain what happened. They (especially the lady) just tried to blame me and had no concern or care about the health of my aunt. The lady was rude and when asked why are you being so rude she just placed blame on me again. No one at the restaurant took any responsibility, offered to correct the order or give the money back, and were completely calloused towards the health of my aunt.

The ignorance of the lady who worked their was off the charts. My aunt is white and I am not. The look on her face when my aunt came walking up and realized that she knew her was more then enough to show her bigoted ignorance. My aunt even looked at her and said “you know me, you know me, you know me” and the third time she said it the lady admitted it. People like this have no place in the food business let alone Spokane.

Good Asian food. They have their own version of Banh Mi (beef with coleslaw, for example). They have been short of staff for a long time.

I’m shocked that I had such a good meal in a mall food court. I had spicy noodles and they were delicious. Lots of vegetables and spice and very well presented. Nice people as well.

Our favorite place to eat in the mall, hands down. Miso teriyaki bowl, rice or noodles. We practically inhale the food. I have had people stop at my table and interrupt me to ask where I got my lunch because they were surprised at how pretty it was and how good it smelled. I recommend Miso to anyone who will listen.

So, if the woman is cooking, it is delicious. When the man cooks, it’s hideous.
I’ve been going here for several years, and that is how things are on a consistent basis.
If I go there and he’s there, I usually pass.
Why?
Well, for example, I get spicy chicken yakisoba. He completely DOUSES everything with sauce, making it gooey, slimy, greasy and disgusting. This occurs even when I ask for “just a little sauce.” I think he enjoys doing the opposite of what I ask. So kind of a passive aggressive thing because he clearly hates being there.
In addition, every, single time I ask for chopsticks, he NEVER gives them to me, so I have to ask again. This doesn’t happen with the woman.
The noodles aren’t inexpensive, so it’s disappointing when I end up throwing them away because the are gross.
So if he’s cooking, I will NEVER eat their food again.
In addition, they now cheap out on veggies, at least HE does. I always get more veggies, with her.
They also used to offer fresh scallions, bean sprouts, peanuts and cilantro for toppers, no more.
Very disappointed

I’ve always liked them, their food is fresh and tasty, and now I have a new favorite. The Miso Peanut Salad with tofu is very good, high in protein, relatively low in carbs, and quite satisfying. It’s a food court, so the ambiance is the mall, but that’s to be expected.
