We went to Misfit Kitchen for Valentine’s Day at 11 A.M.
We made reservations ahead of time as suggested and when we arrived, we were seated straight away. We were seated near the bar and the little bartender lady was our waitress, or, at least she took our order. After that, she completely ignored us. The entire rest of the time.
Our shrimp appetizer arrived and it was delicious. Then our entree showed up and it did not disappoint either. The food was absolutely amazing.
The service was absent and completed and unexpectedly disappointing. No drink service at all. We both ordered water and the wife had coffee as well. I finished my water and also my wife’s water because after we got our food, service was OVER. So, once we finished our meal, we waited for the waitress to bring out bill. That never happened so I got up to find someone competent and ask them for our bill so we could pay and leave.
All in all, I believe it’s probably a good place minus the little bartender lady who didn’t seem to care about her job or customers at all.

Forst time to this establishment. Heard good things. We went on a Sunday around Lunch time. Not busy at all. A little loud. Friendly staff. Loved the docor on the walls and especially in the bathrooms. I ordered the Pop’s burger and my wife ordered the Wifey. The burger has brisket, pineapple berry BBQ sauce, blackberries, pickle, cheese and an aioli. It was different for sure but In a good way. The sweet with the tart of the pickles and the fattyness of the brisket was amazing. The wifey was pretty solid too. Not as hot as I thought it was gonna be. Just a little kick. My wife also got a side of pancakes and she said they were amazing.

The food was good and came out hot! If you go here definitely ask for Megan. Megan provided excellent service. She was very friendly and attentive. Thank you Megan! Also try the Cold Brew lavender latte.

Great food. Ample serving size. We visited on International Womens Day our server, Megan, was the bomb and the music, by DJ Madja, was great. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back!

Loved this place! Konner was amazing! The brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I had the steak dinner with an espresso martini. All I had to do was tell the waiter I loved coffee & she brought me this. I loved that drink.

As my hunger grew on a breezy and beautiful summer day (August 7th), I had a craving for something new but verified. I was deciding between MisFits & another location so I texted a friend to make the final decision. Long story short, she chose MisFits & we met around 1pm. From what I’ve been recommended, my/our experience was pretty aligned with what I had heard.

Random summer Thursday. Perfect for a good lunch. I was familiar with where MisFits was but never walked inside. Considering that other downtown locations either are on a one-way street, are in busier areas or have less parking availability, the location is relatively convenient. I parked right in front of the restaurant & entered an enamoring space. The entrance leads into a hallway with the host toward the end. Once past the “host hall,” the interior is 80% modern, 20% retro. Filled with booths, clear lanes and a good mix of seating options. The lighting is perfectly balanced with large windows for natural light to be let in with other fixtures filling the gaps. We sat in the large “L” shaped booth & our server was with us almost immediately (there were only 2 other tables sat at the time). Of all the menus I’ve observed, MisFits may have the most efficient offerings ever. There’s not tons of variety but it didn’t feel limited either. Classic American Favorites, Only. While our server was wrapping up with the other 2 tables, I reluctantly decided on the ½ Sandwich (The Wifey) ½ Soup (Rotisserie Chicken Tortilla Soup) with Sweet Potato Fries while my friend ordered the B.B. Burger & normal fries. The food came out relatively quickly, less than 10mins after placing the order. The chicken sandwich was good but I was more surprised at how hearty & flavorful the soup was! It made me want to order a full order of nachos. My friend stated that her burger was good except the bacon was thicker & chewier than she would have liked (but she’s picky). We conversed for another 20-30mins afterwards but I think we were both satisfied with our meals.

Overall, I believe that MisFits has almost the perfect name: it’s located downtown but still seems to be one of the more underrated restaurants in the district. If you want above-average American food & don’t want to pay above average prices, this is the place to go. I’d be happy to revisit in the evening to see the full luminary experience.

Misfit Kitchen in Downtown Tulsa. I came with a large party and we were seated in their private dining area behind the bar.

Our server that evening was kind but seemed to be all over the place, as she forgot a couple drinks. I know she was doing her best to memorize our orders but should have written it down.

Anyway, the Apricot Brussels and House Fries were all I ordered for dinner since we had a pretty heavy lunch. And I loved the flavor of the Apricot Brussels. I would love if they were a little more roasted as opposed to being drenched in the sauce. Again, good flavor just wish it had some dry pieces or just lightly tossed in the sauce. The fries were average. Most of the people in my table ordered entrees and they seemed to enjoy what they had. Our service was a bit slow but I’m sure it was because we had a larger party.

Overall, loved the Brussel sprouts and how easy it was to find the place. Decently priced food in a casual atmosphere.

We are from out of town and were so LUCKY to find this spot while out exploring. Great atmosphere, outstanding food and drink selection, but what really set it apart was our waitress Meagan. As busy as it was she never missed a beat and gave us so much attention. She obviously, knew the menu well. Not just the food but the drinks. Her personality was sweet and funny. We visit Tulsa once and year and this will be our go to food spot from now on!
