From reservation to check, this place dotted every “I” and crossed every “T”. We were promptly greeted upon arrival. We were seated in an awesome room with privacy (didn’t ask for it, just received it). Ordering was prompt, didn’t have to wait very long for our chef Jon to arrive. The waitress throughout the meal was very tentative, didn’t have to once ask for a refill -she was on point with it.
Onto the food. My God, the portions are just insanity. Be hungry or well prepared to take another full meal home with you for the next day. I’ve eaten at many hibachi restaurants, and this one takes the cake on portion generosity. The entire world experience was amazing. I will 100% be returning in the near future! Ask for Jon, extremely personable chef that will keep you entertained.

What can I say other than, wow! I don’t believe 5 stars does this place justice. The atmosphere is incredible. Traditional Japanese setting at it’s best! Some of the greatest Japanese food I have ever had. Extremely generous portions as well. The chef Joe was very entertaining! He had a fantastic personality! I can’t find one thing to complain about. Bare in mind, this is not a cheap restaurant. But the quality and the quantity for the price cannot be beat! If you’re looking for a top notch Japanese steak house, look no further!

Just went to pickup call in order, steak/ chicken dinner with extra rice plus $5.00 mayo sauce. For $32.00 plate. This is what it looks like. This is insanity! No steak at all! Lady in front says this is always their portions and they never give free sauce.. I’ve been visiting this restaurant for over decade, inside. Never as take out, so I thought with virus restrictions we would try it. Nope, no… will never ever again even come back! I’m posting so you know if you order carry out here this us what you get. Its not worth it at all!!!! They will refuse to make it right, saying its the way it is and always been. Oh $5.00 for one sauce, size small soup container that is half full. Rude, terrible service, oh I had to pay with credit card over phone to even place order.

Great food and atmosphere. Hibachi restaurant. The fried rice has sesame seeds added instead of eggs and tastes great. Recommend considering this place if you are looking for Asian food in West Knoxville. Also right off the interstate.

I have been going here for 25 years and I am never disappointed. The food was once again delicious and has never changed from the original recipes. It is very nostalgic and I never leave hungry and usually with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The staff was attentive and did a fantastic job of keeping our drinks full and table clean throughout the meal. Thumbs up for sure!

They’ve been hit or miss for the past couple years, so of you’ve been turned off by this place, try it again. The sushi was exquisite! Everything was extra fresh, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the rolls all held together and looked wonderful! The tempura veggies were perfectly cooked as were the hibachi veggies. My boyfriend and I wanted to have a nice meal the last night I was in town. We made a reservation for 6:30 just in case there would be a wait. I am happy we did because for a Sunday they seemed pretty packed. We sat right down and waited over 15 minutes for our server to greet us for drinks. With no exaggeration we literally waited probably 20 minutes for some waters and two glasses of wine. Our server seemed very out of it, rushed, and in no way friendly. I am a server/bartender and try my best to refrain from complaining. However That service was horrific. Thankfully, the food was delicious but not worth a 20% tip.
