We’re absolutely obsessed with the gyro platter, the Greek garbage plate, the garlic naan, and the butter chicken!
I’ve dined in with friends and coworkers multiple times while in olean for work, but most of the time we only have time to get it to go. It’s a very classy peaceful clean restaurant and bar.
Amazing staff all around. They will even work with me on special orders for my dietary restrictions. I’m so grateful!

We were looking for somewhere with vegan options and found this place. Server was excellent. Green Thai Vegetable Curry sounded promising but came with the warning that it was spicy. Spicy didn’t come close…it was inedible but it was explained that without cream added to the coconut cream, it was even spicier. Unfortunately, it looked like overcooked frozen veggies were used and was not appealing at all. The basmati rice on the side was excellent. Dal dish was better. Chicken souvlaki was good and came with a small starter Greek salad with a tasty dressing. Fried poppadum was provided at the beginning of the meal.

I dined with a family member for the first time on Sat evening, Dec 12, 2020.
It was his first time trying authentic Indian cuisine , a favorite of mine, and my first time at Mirchi Bar n Grill.
Their menu has menu has other cuisines, (i.e., Italian, pizza, wings etc) but we can only speak for the Indian dishes we tried which tasted delicious and authentic to me since I have enjoyed Indian food for decades.
***Highly Recommended***
– Restaurant is nice on the inside but looks like a remodeled convenient store from the outside
– We both agreed the food was above average and delicious
– They have a bar therefore serve alcohol with dinner which is an obvious plus
– Kudos to the waiter, John, who never missed his mark

We came as a group of 6 for my son’s birthday and the food was superb. The butter chicken had the perfect balance of savory and sweet. Everyone was happy with their meals and the service was above and beyond. We’re definitely coming back. Thanks for the great experience!

Ordered online twice in a two day period for lunch so ordered at about 1130 the first day and then 1230 the second time because lets face it cravings suck and all I wanted was their butter chicken and both times I had to then cancel my order because they weren’t open when it clearly says they are open and a sign was placed on the door saying that they would be back at 4pm both times I ordered. Maybe they should update their times online and on door dash if they aren’t actually going to be open during the lunch time so that way people aren’t wasting their time thinking they are getting food that they clearly aren’t. Once hours are changed then maybe I’ll change my rating but from my stand point it’s quite irritating when on lunch from work and hoping to get something and end up with nothing.

To pay for as much I as I did for this meal and to receive what it did, I’m highly disappointed. I originally requested the gyro but was only available for lunch. So I decided to go with another chicken dish…. The chicken scampi with mashed potatoes. The chicken was inedibly dry and the potatoes tasted old and reheated. The calamari was a very small portion and tasted like fried fish sticks that you would get in the freezer section of the grocery store. The only thing I ate from my meal was the side salad and a piece of naan bread. My partners meal (pepper chicken) was completely mixed together (like someone shook the to-go container). Salad, rice and chicken. He simply threw it away. We have ordered from here before and have never received anything like the meal tonight. $53 for a side salad and naan bread.

The food is excellent, very authentic Pakistani/Indian cuisine. The Tandoori Tawa Fish, a grouper, is incredible. Only problem is the setting. Odd location in a middle class residential neighborhood, out of a converted house. Still, ambience is decent. Support local business!

Get the taquito bites!!! The cheese sauce is great. They have options for the picky eaters in my family as well. We’ve only even ordered on doordash so I can’t speak to the service but the food is great!

Very cozy restaurant that’s tucked away in North Olean. We got lucky and had live music as we walked in and we also beat the rush. Menu prices are comparable to the others in town but a lot more tasty meal selections. Drinks and meals were perfect. Food was served sporadically, but it was well worth the wait. I will definitely return.
