Now open for dinner and brunch in Los Feliz by the team behind Mirame. Mírate presents guests with two bar spaces, including a dedicated mezcaleria, and an emphasis on a wide selection of cocktails, distillates, wine and beer––all sourced from Mexico. Guests will explore an ingredient-driven menu inspired by Mexico’s bold flavors in a beautifully adorned and lively setting that artfully combines the kitchen’s takes on nuanced techniques. The menu is intended to be shared in a convivial manner with dishes that present familiar flavors in a new, unexpected way that emphasizes the layered culinary history of Mexico, seamlessly intertwined with Californian sensibilities. Entrance is on Vermont.

Went to Mirate for brunch on a Sunday morning with reservations made about 2 weeks prior. The design and attention to detail really sets the bar high. I love the uniqueness to it, there’s both indoor/outdoor seating as well as 2 floors. I had the burrito and my friend the chilaquiles with fried chicken, we both had iced coffees. It wasn’t busy nor overly loud and we got to enjoy our food and conversation. Highly recommend!

It’s such a beautiful place inside, the food was very good yummy but because it’s very far apart and the food served so late or cold when it comes to your table but in overall everything was perfect. Even server were so nice and friendly. The drink was very good. Definitely recommend the lobster dish and taco !

Obsessed with this spot. The energy and atmosphere are super cool, a hidden gem for sure. Staff was incredibly kind and our server was the best, knowledgeable about all the items on the menu, and also helped with gluten free dishes.

We came for drinks and it was incredible. The staff were so knowledgable and had so many recommendations based off of preferences. Every cocktail we tried, we liked. The downstairs dining area is gorgeous, especially at night. We didn’t make a reservation, but were able to walk-in and find a bar table.

Liked this spot enough to come twice in 2 weeks. Awesome space, great service, really enjoyed the food. Definitely order the cornbread and the palo santo latte. Also liked the lamb flautas a lot. Was pretty easy to find parking around here which is a plus.

Ambience was a great experience. Our waiter started off great and by the end of the night he disappeared. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for him to come by to give us the check. The food was great but not entirely impressive. Did have some great items like the yucca sucias and chicken tacos. We didn’t like a particular dish and once we made a note to that for our waiter it was then that he never came back. I’m not sure if it’s a code that we don’t let servers know the food is good or idk. Sorry fella. He didn’t even say Goodnight after we exited. Nice guy, sorry if we annoyed you!

It’s really cute inside, very much goes for aesthetics the moment you walk in and go up the stairs. I wouldn’t have imagined that’s what it looked like from outside. The server was very pleasant. Parking is either street or valet / lots behind the restaurant.
