I stopped by Miranda Mexican Restaurant in Wilmington, NC, and overall it was a solid experience with a few things to keep in mind.
The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, with a bright and welcoming atmosphere. It feels well maintained and comfortable, whether you are grabbing a quick bite or sitting down with friends.
If you go, Taco Tuesday is absolutely the move. The tacos are only $2 each, which is a great deal. They are on the smaller side, but that honestly just means you can mix and match and try a few different ones. The flavor is good, and for the price, it is hard to beat.
The service was super fast. Our food came out in about five minutes, which was impressive. Everything was fresh and hot, and the staff kept things moving efficiently.
That said, when it is not Taco Tuesday, the prices for other menu items are pretty high compared to similar Mexican spots in the area, and it does not quite feel worth it at full price.
Overall, Miranda is clean, quick, and worth visiting especially for Taco Tuesday. Just plan your trip wisely to get the best value.

We’ve eaten at Miranda’s quite a lot, so we trusted them with a catering order for my birthday. We placed quite a massive order (tacos, rice, beans, nacho platters) a few days in advance. My family and I were incredibly surprised at how perfect the taco platter looked (photo showcasing it attached), and how delicious the whole meal was. My family said, “This is the BEST authentic Mexican food we’ve ever had.”

Dinner tonight in a new place close to our new home, Miranda! My wife started with her Margarita and I had a Cervezas Victoria followed by Cameron’s Ala Diabla for her and Torta Cubana! Both dishes were very filling and tasty!

We ordered the Chile Relleno spring roll appetizer and it was Great!
Wife ordered taco’s (taco Tuesday special) She had al pastor & spicy steak
I had the ACP dinner.
Everything was delicious! And, the tortillas are made fresh!!!!!
Our appetizer was delivered by the restaurant owner. She was incredibly friendly! She was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions.
We will definitely be back!

Wonderful little place. My wife and I went and we’re served immediately. The food was fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was colorful and fun. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Loved it. When were near Northchase we’ll be back.

My mom and I tried Miranda’s for lunch. I got the steak fajitas and my mom got the tacos we both loved our meals. The food was very good and fresh! The salsa and queso were also super good. The restaurant was clean and a cute inside. We will definitely be coming back here!

We were never asked how our food was so I’ll let you know now. Tortillas are homemade and fresh. Very good! Salsa and queso very good. We shared fajitas and they accommodated cooking the shrimp on the side for me since I have a food allergy but my fiancé wanted the shrimp with his fajitas. Loved their fresh juice of the day! Food took a little long and there were only 2 other tables. Rice and beans came out barely warm. And the rice had some pieces in it there were hard. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a lot of potential to be great. We would definitely come back.

We came to this newly opened Mexican restaurant after reading reviews that we’re all 5 stars. We liked the food, chicken meat was juicy and not overcooked. We ordered Crazy Chicken dish and Chicken Fajita. Everything was tasty. We will be back.
