I travel frequently, and it’s rare to find food anywhere in the world that matches the quality, creativity, and heart that Mirai delivers. The dishes here consistently outperform meals I’ve had in well‑known international destinations; every plate is balanced, thoughtful, and packed with flavour.
What makes Mirai special, though, is the people. The owner is genuinely one of the most personable hosts I’ve met: warm, present, and clearly passionate about sharing great food with the community. The staff are equally fantastic, attentive, supportive, and always happy to go the extra mile.
A special shout‑out to the sushi chef, whose willingness to experiment is remarkable. If you’re open to something new, he’ll craft dishes that aren’t on the menu and tailor them to your preferences. It’s rare to see this level of creativity paired with such technical skill.
Mirai isn’t just a great local spot — it’s a destination! Highly recommend and who knows maybe I’ll see you there … I’ve been going ever since they’ve opened and am there at least every two weeks!

Lena is so incredibly nice. She remembers my drink order and is so kind. The atmosphere is comforting and welcoming. Smooth jazz plays as you enjoy your food.
I’ve had their black garlic pork Ramen multiple times and recently have been enjoying their lunch special sushi. I took a picture of it to show the quality and presentation. They take pride in their work and it shows.

Went with a friend for her birthday. We shared the orgasm roll, which was delicious. Then I had the black garlic ramen, which was good. If I went back, it would most likely be for the sushi. The atmosphere was good, and the server was friendly and prompt.

This place is absolutely amazing, I work nearby so I’m somewhat of a regular there.. probably 2-3 times a week.. they have a great lunch special.. the food is always fresh and usually served within 5 minutes..it’s not uncommon for the owner/manager to stop and talk to you, asking how your doing and if everything is ok.. most of the staff are students and they are all wonderful…highly recommend!

Tried a couple of dishes to share with my family. The takoyaki was decent but I feel like it needs some more toppings rather than just a little drizzle of sauce. The spicy curry ramen wasn’t spicy at all but it still had a good taste to it. The black tonkotsu ramen broth was salty the more you eat it. The toppings in the ramen were good and had decent portions. The fish in the specialty sushi rolls tasted fresh however it felt like there is more rice than fish and veggie. The staff were really kind and the place is clean.
