I went to Mirrabella’s Italian in Warwick for the first time today, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. It has that classic Italian comfort vibe without feeling over the top. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.
The real highlight was the chicken parm. It was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly breaded, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce tasted fresh and balanced, not overly sweet or acidic, and you could tell it was made with care. The mozzarella was melted just right and layered generously without overpowering the dish. Every bite had the perfect mix of crunch, sauce, and gooey cheese that makes chicken parm such a classic favorite.
The portion size was great, everything came out hot, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. For my first visit, Mirrabella’s absolutely delivered. Five stars all the way. I will definitely be back for that chicken parm again.

I went in and had a meatball sub, so delicious . My son, on the other hand, had the BLT chicken cutlet sandwich. Oh my goodness, that sandwich must have had about 2 lbs. of chicken on that enormous sandwich. Whew… my son said it was goodt! Lol…

The atmosphere is amazing! It is a small town business in a big city. They care about their customers. You want REAL HOMEADE ITALIAN FOOD, come here. Their meatballs reminded me of my late Nonni. PERFECTION.

Being born and raised in Queens, NY (and in New Jersey for a short stint before the Navy), I’ve had my fair share of good Chicken Parm Subs. It had been a while since I’ve had a great one and Mirabellas exceeded my expectations. You’re not getting no Chef Miked (microwaved) BS here. You are getting gigantic slabs of delicious hand breaded chicken cutlets, with just the right amount of their beautiful house sauce, and a very generous amount of cheese all crammed into a perfect loaf of Italian bread. There really was a homey feeling to the place and I wasn’t even in there for long. The owner and the lady at the register were both very sweet and talked to me as if I was family. When I made sure that my chicken was to be breaded, one of them jokingly told me to put my hand out and slapped it as if they were offended I’d assume they’d prepare the sub any other way. I am stationed in Groton, CT and will be making the drive often to eat there again. 11/10 experience.

It is obvious the meatballs are made with love. All of the food is like your grandma’s Sunday supper. Large portions of ready made meals and sides are delicious. Use your good arm to carry out the large meatball grinder, it’s heavy.

Chicken parm and meatball parm are phenomenal! Customer service was authentic and pleasant. Cheryl, the owner, took my order and she was so delightful. So happy to have found this place as I will now frequent. Subs were packed with meat, sauce is great, bread is perfect, definitely tough to beat.

After reading countless FB testimonials raving about this place, I decided to try it. As a backdrop, I make my own homemade meatballs and am 100%, Italian, 2nd generation American. My bar for what comprises a great meatball is high & I entered this place ordering an eggplant sandwich, they were all out of eggplant and upon asking if their chicken cutlet parm was deep fried, being met with a yes(properly prepared chicken parm should be pan fried), I had no alternative but to try their meatball & provolone sandwich, which is supposedly why everyone comes here. May I also add, imho, the makings of a great sandwich are 3 parts ingredients & 1 part construction. The ingredients; actual meatballs weren’t bad, just more dense than I’m use to making, they tasted good though. The sauce for me was overly sweet & of a chunky tomato variety. I prefer a marinara, more akin to a passata and fresh basil would be nice….still it wasn’t awful. The provolone was ordinary, I prefer a sharp, smoky provolone. The construction: again for my personal preference, the perfect sandwich doesn’t fall apart, this did…why? The bread was good enough, not great, crispy from the oven to hold everything together, but…when you put full size meatballs in a grinder role, the combo doesn’t work without meatballs sliding out. Cutting the meatballs in half or at least breaking them, sqishing them enough to contort to the roll would have helped make this a better constructed sandwich. Overall it was a good sandwich but not good enough for a return trip, at least for me.

Place is so good. The bread is awesome, and they load it up.. aren’t afraid of loading the meats on that sandy. Get it toasted, wow! All they need is to put a little pep in there step some days. Other than that, love coming here

I’m a contractor from Delaware and happened to be in the area. The receptionist at the hotel I was staying recommended me this Cucina. Ordered a Meat Lovers pizza, Wow!, it was one of the best pizza I had so far. All ingredients were fresh. The meatballs are to die for. I ordered some meatballs and sauce to go. Made some fettuccini at home. Didn’t had any left overs. For now on this is my spot for Italian food in Warwick. Customer service is A+. Thank you for such a great service.
