This place was great! From the vibes, craft drinks, and small plates they did not disappoint! I went here with my mom and we had a ball. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Great little place! Happy hour from 3:30-6pm weekdays with $10 cocktails! Drinks were well made and the charcuterie board was excellent and a great value. Definitely a great addition to Oak Park!

Drinks and small bites were really good, but had a terrible interaction with one of the male bartenders that was working Friday evening. My friend and I sat at the bar and after paying our tab continued to chat, the bartender very rudely asked us to leave to make room for paying guests as though we had not just paid and tipped him. I didn’t think this was a reflection of the establishment as a whole, but now with reading some of the other reviews I have my doubts

Came in on a Saturday. Hours say they open at noon. Came in at 2pm. Bar not set up everything looked chaotic. Nothing set for service. Wasn’t greeted felt more like a bother than a guest. Was looking forward to a cocktail bar opening in OP. For a place charging $15 for an old fashioned (which is tasty) I guess I just expected it to be a little more buttoned up.

A group of us went to Mira Social for a few cocktails and a bite to eat. All were fantastic with an excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend paying a visit. You’ll definitely want to go back. Jose the bartender, A+!

Really fantastic cocktail bar. Unique liquors (e.g., a variety of South African gins and a very interesting corn liqueur (!)), wide variety of contrasting tequilas (bartender gave us a taste-test/lesson on the stark differences between very good and not-as-good ones), and extraordinarily knowledgeable and enthusiastic bartender(s) makes this a new local go-to. Cut them some slack on the earlier reviews right as they were first opening–sheesh! They have hit their stride quickly and now represent a solid mixological treat.

I initially came for a drink and left with great stories and what I genuinely believed was a new favorite establishment. The ambiance is thoughtfully curated, the cocktails are exceptionally crafted, and most of the staff cultivates an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and at ease. It felt like the kind of place where time dissolves almost imperceptibly.

Regrettably, my most recent visit with my significant other proved disconcerting. During a conversation with a staff member named Sherry, who mentioned being close with ownership; The dialogue shifted toward socioeconomic disparities affecting Black communities on Chicago’s South Side. While such topics can be discussed with nuance and sensitivity, I observed that each reference was accompanied by remarks directed toward me in a conspicuously pointed manner.

As a Black man, the exchange felt less like intellectual discourse and more like a sequence of subtle yet targeted assumptions. The tone carried an unmistakable undercurrent of condescension and reductionism, culminating in an uncomfortable interaction marked by racial microaggressions.

One of the owners, Victor eventually intervened and redirected the situation so that we could leave which suggested some recognition that the exchange had become inappropriate. However, the absence of any acknowledgment or apology left the matter feeling unresolved.

I share this not to disparage the establishment, but because I genuinely valued the space and believe environments like this should remain inclusive and respectful for all patrons. No guest should leave feeling singled out or socially diminished.
