This darling pizza place location in the sweet little village of mio michigan. Not only has great food. They take care of their community. They have a board up with pre paid meals for those in need. Absolutely one of the most heart warming things I’ve seen in a while. If you need a meal or want some great pizza give these guys a try. Veteran owned.

This place is a true gem. It’s a family business that cares about their product. The food was incredible, all made from scratch and made to order. Their dough recipe is one of the top handful that I’ve eaten. Get the DOTS! The owners even spent a few minutes to greet me and inquire about my experience. I can’t recommend this place enough. Finally!!! We found a pizza that had the perfect crust, excellent flavor, delicious toppings and wonderful cheese. And the loaded cheese bread stick thingies that were amazingly delicious, wow! The staff were awesome, but no one would tell me how old the elephant is

If you are traveling up through Mio up north you have to order pizza and garlic dots from the Mio pizza shop, best pizza and bread we have ever had. Just look for the pink elephant they are right behind it!

A really great pizzeria in the upper lower peninsula of Michigan.
We came as a large group after an event and it was a little over an hour till close and they still sat us right away and told us we didn’t need to rush, this was the start of our fantastic service. Our server was amazing.
The pizzas were really great. We didn’t have any non pizzas from the menu but I bet they would have been great too.
They do monthly specials and we had the sweet & sour chicken pizza, it was great.
I highly recommend Mio Pizza Shop. We’ll be back next year for sure.
