As someone who’s Hispanic and grew up in California, I’ve had a lot of authentic Mexican food over the years. After living in Ohio for the past five years, it’s been hard to find something that truly compares — until I tried Miny’s in Michigan.
The quality for the price is unbeatable. The flavors are bold, authentic, and clearly made with care. The textures are spot on, from the tortillas to the fillings, and everything tastes fresh.
The carne asada tacos are more than worth the price, and the guacamole is fresh — easily better than Chipotle. These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had since living in the Midwest, and they genuinely reminded me of the spots back home in California.
If you care about real Mexican food and not just “Mexican-inspired,” this place is absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back.

Just had Miny’s for the first time last week. Great amount of food for a good price. Tacos were flavorful. Loved the little drink carrier they put the horchatas in. Very filling. Can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu.

I’ve had Minys in AA & Ypsi. Both are amazing! I’m adding a photo of leftovers. It still looks good even the next day!
There aren’t places to sit, you basically pick up and go at Minys but their chicken tacos are the best chicken tacos I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this food enough. They also use El Milagro tortillas, too which is solid! Their homemade salsas are also delicious.

The experience in food here made it the best moment in my day. The pambazo is an unusual and extraordinary sandwich and the chimichanga is full of flavor. The variety of Salsas and the pleasant staff team push this to a five-star quick lunch experience for sure

The prices are fair, the flavor is immaculate, the service is fast, the employees are friendly, the restaurant is SUPER clean, and I’d just say all around, I absolutely have found a new favorite stop for Mexican cuisine.
I lived in California for a few years and tasted some great Mexican food. I got 2 burritos here, one chicken for my lady, one beef for me, and 2 chicken tacos for my daughter.
Tried all the food for myself, and it was better than anything I’ve had in Cali. And if I would have purchased the same amount of food in Cali, I would have paid double the price. I’m looking forward to being a regular here. Thanks for such a great experience ❤️

The first couple times I was very impressed. Great flavors and great portions. Then about the fourth time the carne asada was very chewy and grissly. Then the next time the pork was was very fatty and inedible. I tried it one more time last night just to give them the benefit of the doubt. The burrito had NO meat in it!!! Completely stuffed with beans and rice. Unbelievable! Never again

I’m kinda amazed! This place has incredible food at a price I haven’t seen in a long time. I met the owner, and he’s such a nice guy. I got the Huarache with tinga chicken and it was genuinely some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long, long time. Check this place out, I guarantee you won’t leave disappointed. Or hungry!

I feel like I’m a connoisseur when it comes to Mexican food, because it’s my absolute favorite! My husband and I have traveled to Mexico more than 20 times, and THIS IS LEGIT THE CLOSEST! I cannot say enough about the flavor and quality, as well as the quantity. For reference, we ordered: Huarache with shredded chicken, 20 pack of asado (steak) street tacos, rice, refried beans, chips, guacamole, pico de gallo, mild salsa and medium green salsa. All 20 tacos were FILLED with steak. I am so impressed with this place! The service is excellent and everyone is so nice. I will without hesitation will drive 30 minutes one way just for carry out. I can’t wait to go back!
