Have not been back to Mint Leaf for a few years now. We met family there last night and loved it. The atmosphere is authentic Thai. The food was very good but we needed our chili ️ sauce as we like our Thai food spicy. The presentation of each of their dishes was the best we have ever seen. Beautiful. No corkage is an extra plus as we love to take our own wines to restaurants. .

My husband and I recently dined at this Thai restaurant on a Saturday for lunch and were highly impressed with the variety of dishes offered. The restaurant provides a separate vegetarian menu, which was a welcome addition.

We began our meal with Fresh Sesame Rolls and Fried Tofu as appetizers, along with a rich and aromatic coconut milk soup. The soup was not only generously portioned but also expertly seasoned and well-balanced in flavor. While I typically enjoy tofu but do not consider it a favorite, the Fried Tofu at this restaurant was outstanding—one of the best appetizers I have ever had. For the main course, we opted for Pineapple Fried Rice and Panang Curry. The fried rice was fragrant, slightly sweet, and loaded with fresh ingredients, while the Panang Curry was a perfect harmony of rich, creamy coconut milk and bold, aromatic spices. Together, they created a beautifully balanced and deeply satisfying meal.

Beyond the excellent cuisine, the restaurant had a warm ambience and a welcoming staff, making for an enjoyable visit. If you appreciate authentic Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant.

A great little spot with a fantastic ambiance and huge menu of unique and interesting dishes not served at most Thai restaurants. The Roti appetizer was simple but delicious with pan fried puff pastry triangles and a peanut sauce side. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was excellent with a big scoop of tasty fried rice sprinkled througout with bits of red pepper, tender green beans, basil, and white chicken. Crispy basil was also sprinkled around the top of the plate. Order it medium-hot, and ask for a side of red chile sauce to adjust the heat upward and add more flavor. My vegetarian friend had a great looking salad with fried tofu, a feta-like cheese, sundried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and I think walnuts.

Unfortunately, this place didn’t live up to expectations and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a good dining experience. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the server was inattentive and seemed disengaged throughout the meal.

We ordered the potstickers, which were clearly not freshly made—they had the texture and taste of something reheated in an oven rather than cooked to order. The biggest disappointment, however, was the way the curry was served. Serving curry on a flat plate instead of a bowl made it messy and difficult to enjoy. On top of that, the portion size was extremely small for the price being charged, which made it feel like poor value.

To be fair, the Panang curry itself was quite flavorful, and that’s the one thing they got right. But the poor presentation and small quantity of rice made it impossible to fully enjoy the dish.

Overall, unless you’re really hungry and just happen to be in the area looking for Thai food, I’d suggest trying a different place. There’s potential here, but the execution and service fall far short of what makes a satisfying dining experience.

This is one of the hidden gems in bay area. I have had the most amazing thai food ever in the US. We went as a family of 7 with two kids. The staffs were really kind and the service was good. This place is also kids friendly and they customise the spice level. They have a separate vegetarian menu as well.
Here’s our order :
Saratoga Curry puffs – a unique starter in a thai restaurant and it was good.
Roti – somes with a peanut sauce and lip smacking.
Coconut milk soup – generous portion, shared by 6. The taste was top notch.
Green curry and Thai panang curry – Absolutely delicious with lots of veggies and tofu.
Spicy Thai basil fried rice – again, a tasty meal.
Mango and sticky rice – the sticky rice was good, mango was not sweet.
Overall, this is the best thai food I have had in the bay area. I would highly recommend this place as it’s family friendly as well.

The Pad Thai is so delicious! They serve in a large portion which is satisfying. The atmosphere is unlike most Asian restaurants and is quiet, soft and easy. I instantly fell into this Thai fusion restaurant. They also have various options for vegetarian dishes.

The interior design is elegant and beautiful. The service is really nice as well. I can see why this place is popular in the town

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Service is great, when the owner is involved. Otherwise, it is OK.

Don’t be deceived from the outside of this restaurant The inside are welcoming and cozy. They have amazing food and lots of choices on their menu.
This will be our second visit. This time it’s my birthday.
As you can see in the photos, I forgot to take a photo of their delicious papaya salad; these are the crispy tilapia, veggie green avocado curry and the appetizers (Saratoga curry puffs). Oh and the Thai tea were pretty tasty too.
They are so far the best from their menu. We will come back soon so we can try more from the menu.
Highly recommend.
Enjoy your meal!!!

We went this place for dinner and it’s surprisingly good! We had a pineapple fried rice with beef, the beef was cooked just right and quality was great! We also had Panang curry, so flavorful! I absolutely enjoyed both dishes! Price is a bit high but totally worth it, the location was great, food was delicious and great portion (we packed both for lunch next day). Staffs were attentive. Highly recommend.
