Just ask them to make it “Indian spicy.” Their lunch buffet is a great deal and delicious, and their other dishes are awesome.

If you’re here see if the food good and worth it…don’t walk, run! My fiancé and I ate here on a Sunday evening. Quiet. Quick. Excellent service! We ordered the garlic naan, butter chicken, & salmon tikka masala. Go get you some.

I saw this restaurant for the first time and decided to try it out. I got the Butter Chicken and Butter Naan. The Naan was hot and fluffy no complaints. The Butter Chicken was also hot and fresh. This was the first Butter Chicken I’ve had with peppers and onions large chunks in it, which I enjoyed. Even with that, the Butter Chicken was still bland. It looked delicious and it has potential but the flavor wasn’t there. I would definitely try something else another time to see if it’s the same.

The food was superb and the people were engaging and very helpful to make suggestions about what to order. I had the mixed vegetable pakora with three different chutneys, but the onion chutney was my absolute favorite! I could’ve eaten that as a side disk. I ordered the salmon to go, and I’m sure it will not disappoint! Looking g for a good place to eat? Look no further.

One of my favorite places to eat in Boone! We went here for my best friend’s 21st birthday as a large group. The atmosphere is full of smiles, food that feeds your soul, and incredible service. The interior is beautiful as well. Mint Indian has become a staple in our community and one of my all time favorite places to eat. Thank you Mint Indian!!

Our second visit to the restaurant. I liked the fact that the restaurant doesn’t feel crowded inside like some restaurants. We had a good experience coming to the buffet here with kids. I liked the spicy chilli chicken that they had for the buffet.
I hope they can provide consistently good food and service in the future.

Update August 24, 2025:
So far the food and service has been excellent. Sometimes the ‘mild’ fried rice can be a lot spicier than ‘mild’. The Tandoori chicken here is the best I have tasted so far in Indian restaurants. The Dosas are very good too. This has become our favorite Indian restaurant in Greensboro.

Sri Balaji Caffe in Greensboro is a brand new addition, just about 10 days old, and it’s already a gem. It is located in the space where Mint used to be, right next to Super Desi Bazaar, which makes it very convenient for a quick bite after grocery shopping.

The restaurant is pure vegetarian and offers an excellent range of South Indian dishes. My husband and I tried the Gobi Manchurian, Chilli Idli, Chettinad Dosa Wrap, Sri Balaji Special Noodles, and Fried Rice, and we loved every one of them. The flavors were spot on, fresh, and tasted just like homemade food.

The service was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and offered a refreshing Indian drink called Paanakam. The staff was attentive, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions.

They also have a vegetarian (non meat) lunch buffet on weekends at reasonable prices.

The Triad area has long needed a good South Indian vegetarian restaurant, and I’m so glad we finally have one with great food and even better service.

Mint Indian Cuisine & Bar is the new top Indian restaurant in town. The staff and owner are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food is very fresh and flavorful. It has just the right amount of spice. The colors are vibrant.

Give the Tandoori Mix Platter a try. You won’t be disappointed. The chicken, lamb, and shrimp were all cooked perfectly and served on a bed of vegetables in a sizzling iron skillet. The onion chutney was a perfect condiment to go with the tandoori meats.

The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and delectable. It went perfect with the rice and garlic naan.

If you want something fresh and sweet to pair with your meal, you can’t go wrong with a mango lassi. Not only is it beautiful, but it cleanses your palate between dishes and gives a break from the intensity of flavors.

Watch out for the lunch buffet opening later this month or early next month. I’ll definitely be back to give it a try.

Listen! If you have not tasted Mint Indian Cuisine, what are you waiting for? This is the HOTTEST New Spot in town. The customer service is top tier! The food is DELICIOUS! I am not kidding when I say this, but you can taste the LOVE that went into preparing and cooking this food. I have never experienced anything like it and I promise I’m not overstating! I will most definitely be returning again an again. I was in the parking lot urging someone to go in lol. His name was George! If you see this review, I hope your experience was just as pleasant as mine!

We visited today after 5pm with a family of 5. The atmosphere was nice and clean, the waitress was very welcoming and did not make us feel rushed to order. She also came to check on us and accommodated additional requests. All the food tasted fresh and the portions were good for the price charged. Most restaurants we have visited in the Greensboro and neighboring areas always make us want to go back home to eat. This was not the case. My daughter enjoyed the Indian food but my son does not but luckily they had fries so we were able to keep him happy with smtng. Great to have a good indian food option here.

I honestly don’t get why some people expect a huge variety at a lunch buffet that’s just $9.99. Sure, there aren’t tons of desserts and no goat curry, but there are still plenty of tasty options to enjoy! I would happily pay more for the quality. I even saw someone say the food was “bland”, really? Maybe we got lucky, but everything we tried was flavorful and nicely spiced (actually, it might even feel a little too spicy if you’re not used to it!).

The service was wonderful. The staff were so attentive, they kept our water glasses filled, cleared our plates quickly, and checked in on us several times. My husband and I went on a Wednesday, so it was calm and not too busy. I can imagine weekends getting more crowded but of course, people are going to show up for such a great $9.99 deal, just like we did!

Overall, we had a really lovely experience and would happily come back again. Definitely worth it!
