Minsky’s Pizza on Mass Street is cozy and comfortable. Small dining room and full bar. A little short staffed when we stopped in for dinner before the game, but the staff were very friendly and were clearly doing their best. We didn’t have much time so we just ordered some garlic cheese bread. That said it hit the spot and was served hot to our table. This is a typical college pizza joint and meet all expectations if that is what you are looking for.

Trash pizza.. sorry I guess I dont get the hype.. Not really “gourmet pizza” in my opinion. The toppings dont seem to be gourmet either. Or I’ve just had a lot better quality pizza elsewhere.
Might as well hit Pizza shuttle over this even.
The only reason for the extra star is the portion sizes and the mozzarella hits pretty hard.
Other than that mine came through greased up from the feet up an doughy. I was a bit high to recognize how small a 12″ pizza is ig.
But if you order anything less than a Large the quality of Minskys Pizza just doesn’t add up for the price.
In my professional opinion (however you take that) pizza is supposed to be cheap. I get that having different crust options is pretty slick.
But honestly, overall.. was a pretty disappointing slice yo…

While the pizza might not impress El Pres, it’s certainly hearty and tasty. I got the combo and it has the perfect amount of sauce to toppings ratio.

We really liked the State Line location and decided to try this one since it was closer to us. Food was great. Service was great. Free parking nearby. The interior is just a bit worn compared to the previous one.
2nd visit. was in Lawrence again and didn’t want to do a lot of research. roof was leaking. waitress didn’t write order down and unsurprisingly got it wrong. food was good.

Was recommended this place by the front desk agent at our hotel. The Pizza was fantastic. I would however recommend asking for the free extra sauce option.

Wow, I had heard this place had some amazing pizza but my goodness, nothing could have prepared me for the Flavorsome GOURMET HAWAIIAN PIZZA that I was about to have. The crust was perfect (original pizza – recommended by the waitress – thank you). The PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SANDWICH was good, it just couldn’t live up to the in your face flavor of the Hawaiian.
Kids menu was good – as you can see one kid got plain pasta and the other got spaghetti.

Small, soft, acidic. I ordered a Detroit pizza. Every other place Iv had one it was the size of a baking sheet, and crunchy. I could forgive the size if it was good but it being soft and instant heart burn inducing was upsetting. Now I remember why I only eat minskys if it’s free

The waiter was rude and out of a party of four ignored just me. I thought it was just me being paranoid but no he was being a jerk. He even asked me how I was going to pay for my meal after my husband got up and left me to use the restroom after not taking our appetizer order or my drink order. Said he didn’t hear me on both occasions. The food was amazing though we got two large pizzas and finally an appetizer that was fresh and beautiful. Just very very late after we had our pizza late. Oh well we will have to check out one of the Minsky’s in KC before I return to that service.
