We decided to try out the restaurant tonight and were not disappointed. We started with a bruschetta that was delicious and the seafood chowder was great! Then split a seafood boil 3 ways the sauce was to die for! For dessert we tried the tiramisu HIGHLY recommend! My parents had the sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee and also enjoyed it! Amazing service so friendly and so welcoming and helpful when we needed alittle help with opening up the shells! We will be back!

I visited this spot at 6:00 PM on a Sunday, and it was surprisingly empty—just us in the entire place. While a quiet atmosphere can be nice, the experience felt “rushed” rather than “relaxed.” Our server checked in multiple times within the first 15 minutes, pressuring us to order, which felt odd given the lack of other patrons.

The Food
The kitchen clearly knows their way around a flavor profile, but the presentation and pricing are currently misaligned.

• Tuna Sandwich ($30): The tuna was fresh and paired perfectly with its sauce, but the plating (like the bun) was lackluster. For a sandwich pushing the $30 mark, you expect a certain level of “wow” factor or elevated side components. Instead, it looked like a standard café lunch.

• Seafood Linguine ($35): Similar to the sandwich, the taste was a winner. The seafood was well-sourced and the sauce was balanced. However, the visual execution felt unrefined for a $35 pasta dish. In this price bracket, customers are paying for the “theatre” of the meal as much as the macros.

Bottom Line: The food is genuinely delicious, but the restaurant is missing the mark on the “total package.” If they want to command $30-$35 per plate on these entry courses. They need to slow down the service and elevate the plating to match the quality of the ingredients. Especially they are selling a lot of other higher price item on the menu, I would worry about their C/P value compare to other restaurants.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant for our first night of vacation. It was a quiet night due to Halloween and we had amazing service from the owner; he chatted with us and was very personable. The food was absolutely incredible, mashed potatoes were a dream, scallops were so tender, crab and lobster were delicious we subbed the sirloin for a tenderloin and the meat was absolutely incredible. If you’re considering this restaurant, do yourself a favour and check it out. It will be your new favourite.

Absolutely love this place. Food is amazing.
The first photo is the escargot. Forgot to take a picture before we started eating. We were too excited. Highly recommend

We had a fun evening with friends and delicious food. Beef carpaccio was so flavourful. Ginger tuna, sirloin creole, both amazing. The service was friendly and attentive and we enjoyed chatting with the owner. There are options at all price points to too, so lunch, dinner, brunch would all be great options. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back. And don’t forget half price bottles of wine on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays!

We had our anniversary dinner here. The food, ambience, and customer service were amazing! There was great presentation and quality ingredients for our appetizers, main courses, and dessert. We shared a bottle of wine as well! Would definitely recommend this place and return. If you’re looking for a family run place with class, this is it : )

So…
The soups were salty, and no bread or crackers came with them.

My lobster sandwich (as you can see in the pictures) — the bread was super burnt and over-toasted. The meat tasted like the kind used for sushi rolls from Superstore. The fries… I even asked my friend — they reminded me of McDonald’s.

The calamari portion was definitely not shareable, and there were more pepper flakes than actual calamari.

My friend ordered a $36 pasta, and it was smaller than my bowl at home.

I saw the advertisement on Facebook and was so excited to come for a Friday celebration night with my friend. Now I feel guilty for bringing them here.

So thank you — we will be going to a different restaurant ….

OMG! best seafood we’ve ever had.
We just ate at the ministere and the food and service was incredible. The tuna was decadent and full of flavor. Didn’t taste like fish at all. And the dressing on the salad was amazing. Almost tastes like a steak in red wine sauce. But that’s just me lol.
The seafood boil was something else. If it wasn’t frowned upon, I’d be licking the plate clean. If you dont get any appetizers, one single boil is enough for one person. If you’re doing appies, one boil between two people is good, but wouldn’t share with more people.
And the crab cakes!!!!!! I chose the crab cake over desert and omg i am so glad I did.
All of the food Is worth every penny. And the service was fantastic.
Think we’ll be coming here at least once a month.
If you like seafood, this is the perfect place to at least try out for the perfect date night.
So much better and cheaper than other seafood restaurants in the lower mainland.
If I could id give this 15/5 stars.
Highly recommend

** Warning Food poisoning from the shrimp or scallops **

We booked a reservation with a gift card we were given. They were very kind on the phone booking our reservation but failed to mention both on the phone and website they were only serving a Valentine’s Day menu. We were disappointed to learn we couldn’t order the regular menu as the Valentine’s Day menu was very limited. We tried to make the best of it anyway. but when the food arrived the scallops and shrimp tasted off. We didn’t want to offend anyone so we packed up the entrees, enjoyed dessert and left. The next day anyone who ate the seafood had food poisoning.

The staff seem nice but we certainly will never eat here again. The food was clearly mishandled and poorly prepared (even the kids said they wouldn’t come back).

To summarize, it seems they tried to fancy up a previous sushi restaurant with frozen seafood poorly cooked and likely not handled in a food safe manner. Miss matched plates, random music selection (with some
swear words) and no cohesiveness to the theme. The people seem really nice and the drinks were good but we would not recommend eating here.

First visit. The restaurant was slow (lunch) so the service was outstanding.
Food was served in a reasonable time – and was piping HOT.
Fries were really tasty; so was the seafood chowder.
Only negative was that pop was served in a can – which I’m not a fan of in sit down restaurants.
