Very mid tacos. I ordered one taco which had octopus and shrimp for just under $12 and it was so greasy with all the cheese. The seafood was cooked well, very tender, but you couldn’t really taste it because of all the cheese. Also ordered the kanpai tostada for over $15 which was loaded with fish which I enjoyed, but flavor was meh. For nearly $30 for two items, I was expecting something tastier and higher quality. It’s a one and done type of place in my book.

Such a disappointing experience at Corazon Sur today. Ordered their Sangria that was served warm, with one lonely piece of fruit floating in it, and tasted only of wine. Totally possible it needed more time to “marinate” and would otherwise be delicious because everything we have ever had from Corazon is amazing. I went up to counter to ask if we could trade our full glass of sangria for a glass of their Pet-Nat, and give them the $12 extra, and was told they don’t do drink exchanges, only food exchanges if their customers are dissatisfied, but she did let me know if I would like a glass of Pet-Nat I could definitely buy one… not the sort of experience or customer service we are used to from Corazon

Great tacos! My friend and I got 4 and split them with some chips and guacamole. Very flavorful and I was impressed by the different kinds of homemade tortillas in each taco!

Love the food here Everything on menus is fresh and tasty Surprised though that a $36 salad with rice and beans doesn’t come with chips and salsa?

Corazón Cocina Sur, from the team behind Santa Barbara’s Michelin-starred Corazón Cocina. The tuna and kampachi tostadas were fresh and vibrant, and both the Norteño steak taco and battered fish taco were packed with flavor.
Located at Linden Square is a must-visit for food lovers looking for high-quality bites in a relaxed, coastal setting.

Al pastor was soggy and Luke warm topped with cold pineapple that tasted like it was straight from a can. The expectation of this dish is to have crispy meat and grilled pina. It was very large, it would be better to have two small tacos in the order. No lime or chopped onion provided.

Ahi Tuna tostada was good but we preferred opening day tostada— it was not blue corn, it was more crispy and airy. Flavors were good on this dish.

Yellowtail tostada was under seasoned (needed more salt and acid). Felt like a miss. A women sat next me and asked how it was, as it’s her favorite dish there, and she agreed that she always adds salt/ lime.

Crispy fish taco— better warmer but very soggy. They gave us a lime!

Service was not friendly or helpful which is crazy since they only take your order at a walk up line. Asking a question (no line behind me) felt a burden. We spent $80 bucks on a few dishes, so based on dishes served and service, I do not recommend this place. I hope they can fix some of these things as I enjoy the other restaurants in this group.

We love the location in the SB public market. I love the outdoor patio here. However, our food took a long time to come and 3 out of 4 of the burritos were not hot when we received them. Despite this, the food was still delicious.

We really enjoyed having lunch at Corazon Cocina. The food was very good: starting with guacamole & chips, which has sunflower seeds on top. Then an open face steak taco, Norteno, which had very good flavor and the meat was tender and included pinto beans on top. The tortilla was excellent and very fresh. Also had a fried fish taco, Ensenada, again very fresh and tasty with a little breading on the fish. The atmosphere in Linden Square was festive. You have some small tables which seat 4 and also bigger tables which people share. There is a children’s play area and some individual seating in wicker chairs. It is a boost to Carpinteria

Very delicious food (homemade corn tortillas!) with fresh ingredients. Excellent vegan/vegetarian options. Staff were super friendly and nice, even though it was insanely busy due to Avo Fest. The Linden Square is really well done – fun seating options outdoors with some under a roof.
