Hands down the best Indian in New Plymouth. Have tried a few of the other places around town and nothing beats this place for taste and price. It is takeaway only. Service is good and wait time is reasonable at no more than 15mins.

Waitara’s Finest Taranaki
We decided with us being local, and myself personally having tried almost every place for curry in New Plymouth, to give our closest option a chance. We had a lamb curry and the lamb, I don’t think I’ve had lamb cooked that good ever, in any dish. The butter chicken I would say is in the top3 in New Plymouth. The naan was fat and full of cheese. Please, PLEASE have consistency. Because we will be back and with more people. Thanks.

Local, quick and very good takeaway curries. You won’t be disappointed. There is lunch and dinner deals at good prices. I’d say it’s up there with one of the better curries available here in New Plymouth.
