I gave it a two star, only because it WAS hot when it arrived. If it was cold it would be a 1.
I ordered the sesame chicken. The rice is dry and crunchy, good thing my teeth are strong.
I asked for it extra spicy and it’s sweeter, almost overpowering.
The price you pay is not worth it. They don’t seem to take pride in their food. It could be really good if they did.

A sad and depressing restaurant. Went in for lunch on Saturday and was the only person in the restaurant. Server kept leaving to go to the back and rarely checked on us.

The food was horrible. For whatever reason they felt the need to add in a pound of celery into my dish. I would have been better off going to Leeann Chin or Panda Express. Food was also served on a paper plate.

There was also a sign that said the bathrooms were out of order. Like really?

Don’t waste your time coming here. I don’t know how they can stay in business with food quality this low.

I’m always scared to try new Chinese food but this is definitely one of the better places to try. I ordered a good amount and it was all done 10 min earlier than I was expecting. The cheese wonton are super good because there is an equal amount of crunchy and cream cheese. Everything was still super hot when I got home. Overall, SO good and definitely worth the money!

Very solid experience. Ordered the Egg rolls and the Sesame Chicken. I was very impressed with the food, the chicken was crispy and the sauce was complex. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience. It was not the fanciest or most upscale, but I was pleasantly surprised considering past reviews.

First and last time ordering here. I opened the hot and spicy chicken and it was just filled with onion and 2 small pieces of chicken. I’m confused if maybe they mixed up my order? Super disappointed! The egg roll has a pink tinge from sitting so long it’s really unappetizing.

I think overall my food was good nice and fresh the only thing I would say is that the rice is too hard and the egg roll is too small! I also think they should start allowing substitutions for the combinations

First time and last time ordering from this place. I order the honey walnut shrimp and it did not look like the picture online. No flavor to the sauce honey walnut and sauce they put on the shrimp was water down. Not thick and creamy like other places. $15.50 for the dish and totally not worth it. Panda Express honey walnut shrimp has more flavor and much more cheaper.

Compare the photos and you can tell the big difference. My dish was not creamy or look like the picture from the menu. It was yellow and water down. Plus they filled the bottom half with broccoli and I had about 8 shrimps only. Even the walnut was bad.

Save your money and go somewhere else.

I’ve ordered from Ming’s Garden a few times. It’s okay Chinese food. For the first time I order “kung pao shrimp”. Shrimp generally costs more anywhere you go but the expectation is to get enough shrimp. I got 4 maybe 5 pieces of shrimp, a few peanuts and a pool of celery. The few shrimp I had were absolutely bland. Pretty disappointment I paid for celery. Do not recommend.

This is so underrated. I just discovered this restaurant today. More natural than any other Chinese in Twin Cities. The sauce in stir fry dishes is not glossy indigestible high fructose corn syrup, but tastes like made from scratch. Mild taste so very kid friendly. Recommend if you want it spicy, tell them so they add more Chilli peppers.
