Ordered lunch special togo. Tried this place twice and this second time I had a very large piece of hair in my soup. I called same day to advised the restaurant of the issue. from my understanding the manager said they would replace my meal for the inconvenience of hair being in my soup. I was told they will make it right for me next time. I just called in to place an order to go and it was a totally lie. The manager had the nerve to ask me if I still have the food from 1 week ago. I told her I had pictures and would never eat back at their restaurant and customer service was horrible.

First off, very nice people running this restaurant! I was missing my Egg Drop soup & ran back inside when I realized. They quickly got me the soup & I drove back to my partner’s house. 10/10 on customer service
I was disappointed by the lack of flavor because this restaurant had so many great reviews. The food was relatively bland overall. We had the Orange Chicken & Sesame Chicken both with fried rice. I couldn’t eat my dish and gave it to my partner to finish off because the texture and taste set off my morning sickness.
The Crab Rangoon was 10/10 & I would recommend that if you’re craving it.
I really wanted to like this place because it’s clearly a family run restaurant & I love supporting family owned businesses. The atmosphere felt very homey to me & I liked that aspect of it but I couldn’t eat here again unless it was just an app or soup like Crab Rangoon or Egg Drop Soup.

I’ve had a LoT of really BAD Chinese food all over the metro. Ming Garden is awesome. We’ve eaten at Ming Garden 3 times and it was very good every time. The restaurant is small and not fancy, but their food is among the best in KC. We will be back even though it’s 45 minutes away.

I loved loved loved the orange chicken. Perfect amount of orange flavor, real orange peels, and crispy. No bad pieces of chicken that were chewy or anything that you have to spit out.
Cheaper than Panda Express for a better taste.
I paid 11.75 for a combination plate and egg drop soup, it was a 2.00 up charge for lo mein so if you don’t get the noodles it would be 9.75 plus tax. You have an option to get different side with the combo like crab Rangoon but I chose the soup.

2 hours for an order. I can only imagine how many people left without their order. Even after asking for a refund they made us wait another 20 minutes. I saw MANY people come and go that arrived and left before we even asked for a refund and we had been there for an hour and 49 minutes when we tried to get a refund and just leave. Turn off online orders if you cannot turn an order over.

I have been going to this restaurant for 9years. The staff is usually great. I ordered the kung pao chicken. It’s not supposed to come breaded! I have ordered this a lot from this place and never had it breaded. I was really upset to come home to find my meat breaded and no sauce on it the meat was very dry and not like normal. I called the lady who called me back and instead of fixing the order she just kept telling me that’s the way it was made. Very frustrating when your picture in your lobby shows the meal the way I wanted it ordered and I end up getting something I didn’t order. I don’t eat breaded meats and I give my rice away due to a medical condition. This was very upsetting and I didn’t get to eat the food at all. This is almost like ordering Generals chicken with veggies. Bring back the original Kung Pao Chicken not this breaded Nasty Dish please!!!

Great spot for to go Chinese. They have great Crab rangoons and the food is always fresh. The restaurant does need to be updated and it often feels awkward to dine in because the service feels forced; seems like it is uncommon for them to have people dine in.
