This was our first visit. It definitely won’t be our last! Friendly staff served our delicious food. We had the spicy hashbrowns, egg sandwich, and a half order of french toast with egg and bacon. We also got giant oatmeal raisin cookies for later…later came and they were yummy! The restaurant itself was clean and prices reasonable. We agreed that we will need to check out their other meal times as well!

Great local gem! Excellent food in a nostalgia filled venue. Excellent coffee!! Really great service. Clean bathrooms. It is up a few steps and I didn’t notice an accessibility entrance, but I may have missed it. We would definitely come here again.

Miners Cafe is worth the drive to beat the crowd in houghton for breakfast! Super tasty… always excellent service every time… food has NEVER disappointed me and any guest I’ve taken here has left happy and with a full tummy! Come try breakfast or lunch they always have great daily specials too big letters on the menu… tasty. Seriously!! I ate the corned beef hash omelet with sausage gravy … yum

This waitress Wanda was not a very pleasant person at all. She was in the back screaming at this young man threatening to call the police as she was screaming she was gonna call and get him fired. She was acting very erratic like she was on something. The young man was very upset by her actions. She was horrible the things she was screaming about back there. All the customers could hear her and there was no reason to call the police the young man was was trying to keep composure. I won’t go back in there until she is gone. Very horrible person to have to deal with. You may want to drug test her.
