Passing through town and stopped here. Food was very good. Lots of great things to choose from. Everything at our table was great. Loved the pick your own combo options. Food was fairly quick for a sit down place.

Wow. What happened to Minards? They remolded inside, which is great. A lot more open and bright. Too bad the food went downhill. Cheese ravioli. Chewy. Stubborn on the amount of sauce. And sauce wasn’t as thick as it used to be. Their salad was one of my favorites in the area. Simple. Iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. Now, they’ve mixed in spring mix and spinach. And the salad dressing is way too tangy.

We were excited to go to a real Italian restaurant. Soon we all were pretty disappointed. I am not sure with what to start, but I wish I would have read the other reviews before we came here to spend a lot of money. I ordered shrimp scampi which says on the menu it comes with salad, bread, pasta with broccoli and shrimp. The shrimp was extremely small, the bread was not fresh or Italian, the broccoli was completely omitted. When we stopped at the gas station store close to the restaurant we saw exactly that same bread. When I asked about the broccoli I was told that I didn’t say it…well if it’s in the menu then I want it unless I specifically say I do not want it. They offered to cook the broccoli but didn’t mention about any discount. I don’t want to take just broccoli without the whole meal…it’s not the same. The portion sizes are pretty small. We had a kids Alfredo pasta and an adult Alfredo pasta…exactly same size but priced very differently: 9 and 16. This is not a respectable Italian restaurant and the whole family was pretty disappointed. The food was mediocre over all.

The amount of hard work and preparation manager Heather and her team did for catering our wedding was unreal. We received food for 120 people and bartender services which were phenomenal. They let us sample our food before purchase, she created a beautiful appetizer table, and her support staff was great, among many other things. I heard compliments about the food all night. For me personally, I appreciated Heather being just an email/text away with prompt response and open for any question any time.

I had never been to this restaurant until earlier this week for carry out. I order the spaghetti and meatballs. 2 orders, 1 for my wife. Got home and my wife gave hers a quick shot in the microwave and sat down to eat. I planned to eat in a few. I hear her shout out with disgust that it is the worst spaghetti and meatballs she’s ever had. she said the sauce was basically like a can of tomato paste that tasted horrible. And the meatballs she said were pasty and had a putrid nasty taste. She threw it in the trash after a couple of bites. So… I then spooned a meatball out of mine and after a quick shot in the microwave tried it. Absolutely terrible. Looked like they were spooned out of a can of dog food. I actually had to take a shot of Pepto after trying it. Anyone that likes their spaghetti and meatballs could not have had the same as us. Will NEVER go there again. Mine is now in the trash as well. Waste of money. I will stick with Muriales or Olive Garden. Def done with Minards.

The new menu portions have been cut in half. No baked potatoes on the menu any more and I didn’t see the Delmonico Steak, my favorite. Ribeye and fires, no thank you. Seems like they are catering to a different age group. Not the people who grew up in my age group in Clarksburg, WV. Don’t like the absence of the family pictures in the entry area which is no longer cozy.

Wow! This place has the most delicious homemade Italian food at really low prices! I think it’s far better than Oliverio’s or Muriales. Red sauce, Alfredo and house salad dressing are all phenomenal.

We were in town to visit family on our way back home from a Gymnastics meet. They handled our rather large party with children with grace. [Five adults and three kids that had been cooped up in a hotel or car for two days] Our local family member chose this place, and we were VERY happy with everything. We ordered two each of the appetizers, and they were delicious and started our hungry party well. The kids had Chicken tenders and spaghetti, and us adults were all over the menu, 3 of us got the steak, one got the bot o Italy combination platter, another got the pick 2 with lasagna and Alfredo that they willingly added shrimp to. Their house bread, and salad is divine. Fresh and just right. Do take their advice and get their house vinaigrette, even if it’s not your usual choice. It pairs perfectly with everything they offer !!! Portions were large, and everyone left stuffed. Thank you so very much for putting up with us all, AND for a great, no better yet, PERFECT dining experience !!!

A generational staple in this area. The restaurant has lots of character with multiple rooms each decorated tastefully in an old school manner. We ate there for dinner on father’s day and the staff appeared like they were very busy. Spaghetti was the primary staple dish. The staff though busy we’re all very friendly. Prices were very reasonable with a highly competitive pricing for the children’s menu with pricing based on a child’s age. The spaghetti tasted good, the sauce was okay not too acidic and not too sweet but the spaghetti was drowning in the sauce. The meatballs though good were very bland. The spaghetti had dry spots on it as though it we’re sitting out before having the sauce poured on it. I wonder if they precook the spaghetti and then didn’t soak it enough in hot water before serving. The salad was okay but all iceburg and only sliced tomatoes. The salad appeared fresh.
