Came to Min-Ga for lunch one day and the Korean food was just as I expected from Columbus. Honestly, places in Columbus are better than most places in Cleveland. The bulgogi and Tteok bokki are amazing as usual. Not so spicy like it’ll burn your mouth but just balanced. The soup was perfect for starters and everything else turned out great. Definitely come back here sometime in the future.

Food was excellent and filling, lots of spice which was perfect for my taste although they do have dishes that are more mild. Service was great, will definitely be coming back.

For it being Columbus, OH, best korean restaurant. I live in Cincinnati, OH. There is literally no Authentic korean restaurant besides korean bbq. So searching for Authentic korean dishes is very hard. To be honest its my 3rd or 4th time going there Food is delicious. Their kimbap delicious, their steamed mandu is also good. We got korean blood sausage is so good. I love love their banchan!! They offer alot of different variety of banchan. Lastly their korean stew. Omg hot, flavorful and delicious. We have had their kimchi jigae, fish roe jigue, their seafood soon tofu, squid kui their dishes are amazing. Staff is also very attentive and we are always greeted. Also you know its good korean restaurant when you go their and you see korean customers there aunty’s grandmas etc. Also, this time I went 3 ppl, we share a kimbap, steamed egg, squid kui and a kimchi jigae which come up to $78 so roughly about $25 a person. Their stews can be shared its alot. We always have left overs. Their lunch prices are nice e too. Ive seen some reviews in regards to their tricky tactic and let me say the 4 times I been there , have never been an issue or their tricks on tipping. Matter fact the waiter remember us. And mind you we always show love on tipping. So I guess make sure you guys check your receipts. But as fair as my experiences for the 4 times I been there they been wonderful and consistent each time. Will definitely travel 1hr 40mins again.

Had La Galbi and Galbi Soup. Food was amazing and most of the aunties who worked there was super friendly and patient to giving us recommendations. Except for the short haired chubby auntie. Gave us bill before we even finish our food and drinks and told us u have to go to next room to pick up take out boxes and pack for ourselves. Meanwhile she was helping Korean customers packing their food. Which I am ok with but didn’t feel comfortable. So we left immediately. Will hesitate to come again.

I ordered few Korean rolls to go. I appreciate they’re freshly made, but the quality wasn’t as same as I had before. It taste so bland to no taste. The taste only come from the beef and the yellow salty/sweet daikon radish. Also I think they missed putting some other vegetables or they just cut back some stuffs in their Korean rolls?!?!

Went here for lunch & place was already packed even they just opened. We waited about 10mins before we got into our seats. Took awhile to get our order and took more time to get our food cause theyre so busy on Saturday lunch. But the time we got our food, everything was so delicious you can really feel the “take me back to korea” food type very homey that your eomeoni makes it. Some of the imo are very nice & friendly. The area has k-beauty product store & korean groceries so it was a nice set up if you’re into korean food to anything you need. Make a trip to make a visit.. Definitely going back and recommend. ❤️

Their food is good and amazing. I went there a couple times, never have an issue on tipping until this time. I ordered normal Kimchi Pancake but they gave me seafood kimchi pancake which I do allergy to mussels and one of their servers came to my table and said I did order for seafood kimchi pancake like I am the one who order it. There is no chances that I am gonna order the food that I am allergic to. Also, they did add the tips automatically 20% for 3 people without asking.

My husband and I recently returned to MinGa Restaurant after a few months’ hiatus due to past experiences with rude and inattentive staff. We were pleasantly surprised to find a completely different atmosphere, thanks to the new team working there. The new staff made us feel so welcome, with a friendlier and more attentive approach. They were respectful and focused on ensuring we had a comfortable dining experience, which was a refreshing change.
As for the food, it’s as delicious as ever! We ordered the squid jigae soup, which was absolutely scrumptious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. MinGa has always been a favorite for its food quality, and it’s great to see that hasn’t changed.
Overall, we’re so glad we gave MinGa another chance. The combination of amazing food and now excellent service has won us back as regular customers!
