I visited Mimo on a whim and I’m so glad I did. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh. We started with an appetizer called Formaggio which was goat cheese and on the vine tomatoes. Then we shared Tubetti pasta that had beef ragu and rapini that was incredibly flavorful. We also ordered the lamb chops, including a side of the shredded Brussel sprouts. The lamb chops was so tender and flavorful which paired perfectly with the brussel sprouts that had a nice citrus flavor. We ended the night with their tiramisu which was a perfect size for sharing. I will definitely be back

Went here last night for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. We use the InKind app and had picked up some gift cards from Costco, noticed this spot was on InKind, and decided to check it out — really glad we did!
First off, it’s located in a cool little pocket on the East End inside Tlaquepaque Market. It looks a bit dark from the outside at night, but once you step in, it’s warm and cozy. There’s also plenty of parking, which is always a plus.
My wife and I shared the pane along with their Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu, which included an appetizer, salad, pasta, and dessert. The pane came out warm – perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The starter was a scallop with pomegranate vinaigrette that was light, bright, and a great way to open up the palate. The salad (I think it was purple kale, but I forgot to ask) was fresh and well-balanced. For the main, we had a pasta dish topped with a ribeye meatball that featured a bold sauce with tons of flavor, and the meatball had a subtle kick to it. Dessert was a cherry gelato that was simple, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the meal.
They also have a solid wine selection, which paired nicely with dinner. Service was great – our server Philip was clearly busy but still made sure to check on us regularly.
Overall, this is a great East End date-night spot. They also have a spacious outdoor patio that feels like it was pulled straight out of an Italian backyard. We’ll definitely be back.

As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is so welcoming. The service is outstanding. The food has the Italian touch and flavor (I visited Italy last year) food is really similar. The appetizers were all good. The prawns in the sauce delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection! Paired my food with the suggested red wine. The desserts topped it off for a perfect night out. Will be back with the rest of my family.

My bestie and I went for a girls night and the experience was AWESOME. Amazing service, Fernando helped us with our wine choice. We ordered a few things and split them. I forgot the actual name but the pasta ordered had spinach and ricotta and mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfect and included a side of the broccolini! Highly recommend checking out this place. I see why they have won awards!

Super cute place inside. The service was great. Nicole took great care of us! We were full before we could make it to the third course! We started with the pane, then the sweet potato followed by some prawns. We got the gnocchi and Brussels sprouts and then finished the whole meal with a fresh tiramisu. We made a reservation, but on this Thursday evening, it didn’t seem like it was needed.

Our table of friends was soooo glad we found a new spot to eat and meet. Very attentive and friendly service, fresh delicious meals from a compact yet diverse Italy rich menu, and yes, they do have a wonderful selection of Italian wines (and others) to choose from along w a couple of great Italian beers. The sourdough skillet bread w the charred crust was amazing, and all our main courses were met w much pleasure…this is truly an original neighborhood mainstay, and we can’t wait to get back and invite more family and friends. PS – the fried dough, rolled in granulated sugar, and drizzled in honey was perfect w the Cappuccino as they have solid beans here.

My boyfriend and I came in to check out Mimo since we had heard of it but hadn’t had a chance to try it yet. We were quickly greeted and seated, and they even brought out an amazing cannellini bean amuse bouche. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but we managed to narrow down our selections to just a few plates with the help of our server, Ethan. He recommended the carrot pizzette and the lamb chops with house labneh. Both were absolutely amazing, but the lamp chops were the stand out for us. We will definitely be back!

We were looking forward to eating at this restaurant. Came far out to come here as we saw it on the inkind app and wanted to try the food.
Ambiance was amazing but management service has room to improve. Came here to eat the bone in rib eye. They ran out and didn’t try to make it right.
We told them that we came far our to eat here and try it out and the least they could do is make it right but they did not. Therefore, I have to give it a 1 star.
Ambiance was nice and has lots of potential but suggest they be customer focused especially when they run out of food items that customers come to try.

We started with the Pane which is a skillet bread and it arrived to the table HOT! So so delish!
We ordered the Fettuccine and the Gnocchi and they were very flavorful. We both enjoyed our dishes and will definitely be back.
