Our order took longer then expected, we did arrive right as they opened. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki and sticky situation teriyaki. The spicy was very saucy, I enjoyed it. The regular one was not saucy enough. I would have liked more sauce or the option to purchase some on the side. We also had a kids box with the sticky situation teriyaki. The portions are large! We tried the cucumber salad, green beans and mac salad. All the sides were enjoyable. Service was great! Very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was cold, but seating was comfortable and Restaurant was very clean. Would go again but ask for extra sauce on the side. We wanted to dine in but due to the time it took to get the food we had to take it to go.
I want to add, we were the first customers. I got my receipt at 11:05 and my food came out at 11:40. There was one customer after us before they got the rush of High school kids. My daughter had a 1200 Ortho appt and was trying to get lunch before she was unable to eat. She ended up having to eat on the way to the appointment in a rush. I don’t understand how the high-school kids affected my order, when it was the first order of the day. Our food was just warm and not hot, which after 35 minutes of waiting it should have been piping hot. That was also disappointing. Thanks for the response though

There are a lot of teriyaki places in tacoma and none of them are worth talking about. But none of them are this place, it’s fantastic! Huge portions, staff is so nice. I tried several dishes and all of them are soo yummy. Every is “served with extra love” and I will absolutely be back!

I was hungry and decided to give them a try…and I AM SO GLAD I did!!!! I ordered their pick 2 combo with choices of katsu me if you can & garlic AF Chicken with the sides of Mac salad and cabbage salad. AND it’s was AHHHMAZING!!! Especially the katsu, and also on top I did not know they just GRAND OPENED- so they have a DEAL as well where you BUY 1 PLATE, GET 1 FREE BOWL until 2/19.
I ordered online so didn’t get to choose but I am so glad they gave me the Spicy AF Chicken Bowl to try, it was delicious & I think I might have to order that again next time.
The portions are big as well, definitely 2 people can share easily for lunch/dinner. Everything is well worth the $$$. I hope we can get more people to spread the word and try them out in the neighborhood, it’s so sad to see so many restaurant owners take over and can never make it long. So let’s go support them and hopefully we can help them stay!!!

I recently tried this new teriyaki spot after seeing photos of their food that looked absolutely amazing, so I was really excited to give it a try. The customer service was wonderful — the woman working there was incredibly kind, helpful, and created such a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the restaurant. I genuinely appreciated how friendly she was.
Unfortunately, when we got home and tried the food, the quality was very disappointing. We ordered the Over the Moon Chicken and the Spicy Chicken with onions and jalapeños. Both dishes were extremely mushy — the texture was so soft that it turned into a lumpy pile and wasn’t appetizing at all. The flavor and consistency made it difficult to even finish a bite, and both plates ended up being thrown away. My family also tried it and agreed it was unfortunately inedible.
I feel bad writing a negative review because the service was truly great, but the food quality just didn’t match the experience we had in the restaurant or the photos that drew us in. I hope this feedback can help the restaurant improve consistency and texture in their dishes, because the customer service and overall energy there were genuinely lovely. I’d love to see the food quality reach that same level.

Ordered for pickup today and was not disappointed! Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The veggies were fresh and the chicken had the perfect char. The portions are also super generous. You can tell everything is made with love, we will be back for sure!
