Everything we had was absolutely delicious! We were at our cabin and decided to make the short drive to Grayling to check this place out! We had the bruschetta to start- it was different but so good! The Caesar salad was fresh and was one of the best I’ve tried! Our entrees were amazing as well! The lobster ravioli had chucks of lobster in the sauce too and the chicken Marsala was delish! The roasted vegetables that come with it are so good too! The manager checked in on us and the chef even came out to talk to us. An all around fantastic experience! We will be back!!

I would give 10 stars if I could. This place has exceptional food and service! You will not be disappointed if you enjoy ambiance that’s elegant, trendy, but not pretentious and serves delicious food. My goodness, even the olive oil with the bread was amazing! Our party of four loved everything we ordered (wine, mussels, Caesar salad- best I’ve ever had in my life- filet, vodka tortellini, lasagna, salmon, and the mini desserts served in espresso cups was the perfect way to finish the meal. Highly recommend for a nice dinner out!

The food is delicious, and the flavors are very well balanced. The chicken is tender, but the halibut is a bit dry and bland; the sauce could be a little stronger to enhance the fish’s taste. The tiramisu is one of the best I’ve ever had—I especially loved that the ladyfingers weren’t overly soaked. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a decent restaurant in Grayling.

My husband and I stopped in on Saturday, Oct. 4th at 8pm for our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner. We both ordered the chicken parmesan with the garlic pasta. It was quite delicious and comparable to what we’ve made at home.
If we had known they were going to serve us delicious, warm bread, we would have ordered a different appetizer just because it was a lot of bread. We had the bruschetta which was amazing! It had a very flavorful cherry chutney and our leftovers even tasted great the 2nd day.
Our waitress was okay, but didn’t seem happy to be at work. We did observe most of the wait staff and they didn’t smile very much. Our waitress was just okay. We did meet the owner who was friendly.
The acoustics were quite loud so it was hard to hear each other speak. We would have preferred a quiet corner booth, but all were taken.
This restaurant has some great potential! With some tweaking and some more smiles it could be a great place to go on a nice date or a nice dinner out with friends.
I do wish guests would dress up a little more. It’s a nice establishment.
P.S. A dessert to share on the house for our anniversary would have made our visit really special.

The food was absolutely delicious!!! From the bread, appetizers, the entrees and the dessert! You can just tell the food was made with so much love! Highly recommend the calamari, I’ve never had it before yesterday and it was so delicious! The lemon sauce on it was to die for! I also highly recommend the Pasta Ala Vodka with tortellini, the sauce, the sausage and then prosciutto talk about chefs kiss! The service was phenomenal, felt like I was right at home as soon as we walked in the door! Matt and Christine have outdone themselves! Can’t wait to go back again!

I honestly don’t know where to begin.The host was amazing. Made a special effort to check on us a couple times throughout our meal. Management was over the top spectacular, going out of their way to celebrate our honeymoon, the little things like the chef delivering our apps so we could thank him before preparing our meal really made us feel like the only ones in such a hopping atmosphere. Now our service, I wish I made a better effort to remember our servers name. She defines fine dinning experience. My wife and I met at a fine dining establishment so we understand the attention to detail, the double seating. Yet she made us feel like we had the spotlight. We celebrated the end of our honeymoon here. It could not have been a more perfect dinner for our final night. Omg the food, I could cry about how amazing and original the bruchetta was. I couldn’t dream of a more pleasant taste and texture combo. The toast was crispy yet soft. Hard to explain, definitely a must try. The drinks oh my the exquisite dream cicle. I’ve never seen my wife Finnish let alone have another in the 6 years we have dated. This place really deserves a reward. 10/5. This is the one thing grayling was missing but never knew it needed. I personally thank the owners and the staff for such an amazing dinning experience. Thank you for bringing this gem into existence. I tip my hat, was truly the best dinning experience I’ve ever been lucky enough to witness.

We went to try out their social hour, and will absolutely be back! Our server, Naomi was a delight, attentive when needed, and charming as well as knowledgeable as far as the food goes. She had several tables and handled everything with ease. Great server! We didn’t know what to expect from their reduced menu, but not to worry! We shared the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts as sides, and I got the burger, while my husband got the chicken parm sandwich. Everything was so delicious! If you are an early diner, this is a wonderful choice for dinner! All that being said, we will be back for their regular menu as well. What a gem Mimi and Pipi’s is in our little town!

Last Wednesday, my wife and I had a delightful dinner with our friends from Grand Rapids at Mimi’s & Pipi’s. It’s been a long-awaited experience for us since the restaurant opened earlier this year. The entire ambiance and service were exceptional. I had high expectations, and they were more than met with the warm yet modern decor, great food and presentation, and prompt service. The portion sizes were generous, and the food arrived promptly. We even had the chance to meet the manager, who recommended some fantastic Farina Valpolicella to accompany our meal. Overall, the experience was so enjoyable that we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
