I would really like to say something nice about this place. But honestly, there was only one experience I had here that was good out of a handful. On my last visit, my girlfriend and I took her daughter-in-law who is visiting from Japan to Milwaukee Burger company for her first bloody Mary ever. It was the absolute most disgusting thing I have had. When I told the server that it just tasted like watered down tomato juice, she laughed and said that’s good feedback for our new bartender. It was very nice that she took them off the bill but still a huge disappointment for something that our foreign friend was so looking forward to.

First off the decor and persona is very comfortable. The staff is friendly and engaging. The food is above average, they make their own dressings and dips. Several offerings for potato and a great variety of cheese curds. Get the sampler! We had lunch today and it was great!

Stopped here traversing between Minneapolis and Green Bay. Very clean, lots of burger and chicken sandwich selections, good beer list, good fry and cheese curd options. Easy on/off the highway. They have smash burger and thick patty style … very tasty, also a build your own option. Definitely on the will return list.

Absolutely the best onion rings on this earth! The waiter was phenomenal, I couldn’t have asked for better service. Ask for Kodi!! I asked for the burger to be lettuce wrapped since it was an option. Gotta save a calorie here and there somewhere! Hamburger was fantastic! I couldn’t eat it fast enough to enjoy every bite!

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. The place was not too busy. My son and were seated right away. We ordered traditional cheese curds for an appetizer. They were huge! We each had a burger. My son ordered the jalapeno and smoked cheddar and I ordered the hickory cheddar. Both were outstanding. The jalapeno had sliced fresh jalapeno, the hickory cheddar had smoky bbq sauce and shoestring onions. We would definitely recommend. I gave service just four stars because of the required service charge for using their required electric payment system.

We went on a Saturday evening. It was busy, but it was not unreasonably slow or anything because of it. Our server, Preston, was great and accommodating. He was fast and remembered every part of our order/didn’t forget a single thing anytime we asked.
The food is phenomenal!! The burgers were perfectly cooked, the appetizers (both curds and onion rings were great,) and the service was exceptional.
If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be back!!

We stumbled upon Milwaukee Burger Company Grill & Bar here in Wausau four days ago and were instantly hooked! The first time we went, I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and it was absolutely incredible — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of flavor. I paired it with a bourbon old-fashioned that was one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Our kids loved the build-your-own meals, which made it fun for them to choose exactly what they wanted (and let’s be honest, that’s a parent win right there). We were all so impressed that we came back again just four days later — the menu was too unique and tempting not to explore more. It’s such a refreshing change from the usual options around Antigo and the surrounding area.
Tonight’s visit started with their Bacon Bloody Mary, which honestly deserves its own round of applause. It was a meal in itself — complete with a mini BLT slider, deep-fried bacon, candied bacon, a regular bacon strip, plus cheese and other delicious toppings. It’s over-the-top in the best possible way!
We’ve had great food, fun drinks, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere both times. This place is definitely going to be one of our regular stops whenever we’re in Wausau. Highly recommend!
