Very average Korean restaurant.

Very ordinary menu, simple decor, not most comfortable dining tables and chairs, very minimal service (only come to our table once to refill the water).

Food is very average as well. Not amazingly good or not too bad. I’m not sure if I would like to eat here again.

One of the best place for soft tofu soup. It’s always wonderful to have a bow of hot soup on a cold day.

The place is not too big but can seat a good amount of people due to efficient seating arrangements and ordering system. They take your order before you get your seat so by the time you seat down your food comes out almost at the same time. They always provide a few side dishes as well so it’s great to sample on them before your actual meal.

Their menu includes soft tofu, varieties of meat, and other Korean dishes like bibimbap. Their price is decent but could be on the expensive side if you try some meat dishes. We paid about $54 total for two with two sold tofu bowls.

Amazing food, amazing service!
You can customize your tofu bowl with substitutions, and the waiter we had was super friendly and accommodating with our requests!

Had dinner here with a friend and was pleased with the choices of tofu soups on offer. The portions are generous and the fish roe tofu soup is a blast which even comes with a raw egg for the customer to crack the egg into the soup. Generally, we are pleased with the layout of the side dishes and the Korean rice cakes are also pretty good. The downside is that their hot barley water tastes like plain water.

Just realized after all these years that I’ve never posted a review on SGD Tofu House. They are consistently good with some of the friendliest staff. There’s 3 Korean restaurants in the same plaza but this is my go to spot when craving traditional Korean food. The seating is spacious. Also I catered here for my Christmas Eve dinner and the food was still amazing at home after 30min. A Korean gem in Milpitas!

The spicy rice cake was delicious, little bit on the sweet side but it was very tasty. Sea food noodle was perfectly seasoned with fresh clams. Friendly staffs and nice cozy atmosphere, the price seemed reasonable.

We have been to this restaurant numerous times. This isbfirst time I tried their stone pot bimbap and it was hot and delicious, plus the banchan! We typically get their variations of tofu soup and spicy pork!

Good place if you like tofu soup. Variety of choices and they are FAST 🙂 This is a franchise and the quality and taste of the food is quite consistent, i.e. it is reliable in terms of what you will get.

Fish roe tofu soup is outstanding, packed with plenty of fish roe! The side dish is average though, I feel kimchi lacks flavor. There are plenty of seats, and we didn’t have to wait too long during mealtime.

Hmm, no longer the place that we knew and enjoyed.

1. One egg (was included) is now an extra charge on top of high-priced tofu soup.

2. Banchan is now served in a single box, not in tranditional, individual dishes.
