We’ve been waiting for a different concept restaurant in Suwanee for so long! The ambiance and food are so much different than other Mexican restaurants in the area. Great presentation, so much flavor, and last but not least, great cocktails. We enjoyed a family birthday dinner and were pleasantly surprised by everything Milpa Cantina had to offer. I’ve already recommended it to a few friends. Awesome and friendly staff!

Atmosphere: very nice place. Clean. Service was excellent.
Food: delicious. A little pricy but worth it. The tortillas were hand made. We ordered the Tres Cochinitos, Alambres, and Molcajete Maya.
I’m only giving it a 4 out 5 because they need a better beer selection.

Thanks to a friend for making this recommendation, she sure knows my taste buds better than anyone.
Drinks absolutely gorgeous- (mock-tails & tequila infused) allow your bartender to make them for you it’s more fun that way.
Food full of unbelievable flavors, an even balance married together from different regions of Mexico.
What didn’t we have! We went big!
Great music, fun atmosphere & welcoming staff!
We admire people who take risks, dream big and bring their creations to life.
Life is delicious friends, get out there and enjoy!

Elevated Mexican cuisine. Get the PIZZADILLA! Each dish kept blowing us away, we wanted to try the whole menu! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been to. Definitely try the egg rolls. We tried the burrito and enchiladas and it was all good. We will be back to try out the drinks….and some more food.

Oh my goodness- RUN to Milpa Cantina! Best Mexican food in Gwinnett (not an understatement!)! So many delicious and authentic food options- and the cocktails are *fantastic*! Head to Milpa to be transported to a night out at a Mexican resort!

Different take on some Mexican dishes that were bangin’ with flavor and taste… I had 2 drinks, 3 different drinks in all at our table, all were bangin’… our service was good, food was prompt to the table and hot to order… the place was a vibe inside with the music and drinks and it didn’t feel like Sunday in there… if I could I would rate it 4.5 due to price as it was definitely expensive for a lunch type meal (2 tacos for $21) but to be fair I definitely had a whole fish inside them so easily could’ve been 3 or 4 smaller tacos for sure… I’ll be back but don bonachon can deliver equal on the taste at a more affordable rate
