Stopped in Sunday after church and the staff were so friendly. The food was the freshest I’ve ever had from any Milo’s. The manager spoke with us and you could tell she ran a tight shift. I will definitely be back to this location in Gardendale.

We came in having never been here before and tried Milo’s. The very friendly lady at the counter, when she found out we had never been here, grabbed a manager who brought us out a sample tray of sauces and fries and chicken for us to try. Top notch fast food experience. Amy and Wayne were awesome!

We stopped here on our way through town and decided we needed to try it out. We ordered the mega meal to share. NeNe (an employee) brought our food to us and discovered we had never been to a Milos. She returned with a ‘first timer’ which included some fries and some nuggets and samples of all of their sauces, free of charge. She explained to us what all of the sauces were and how they want they want first timers to enjoy the full experience. What a special experience! Thank you to NeNe for taking the time to ask why we only got one meal (we just wanted to try it and we’re going to dinner later). You rock!!!

The store manager made sure everyone was taken care of. While waiting for my food a lady came in to complain her order wasn’t right. The manager asked he what she ordered and it was exactly what she ordered BUT he offered to replace it immediately. The manager walked around the dining room making sure everyone felt welcome and were satisfied with their order. Wow!

This used to be the best place to get a to go burger in Gardendale. It still might be since the fast food industry has gone way down.
The bad rating is do to order not being correct. A simple no pickle on the burger with a side of honey mustard. Did not get the honey mustard, got the pickle, and a burger I can not eat.
I will give milo’s credit. The chicken has been on point. The last few times.

It has been years since dining at a Milos. I used to eat there quite a bit when I worked in Birmingham over 12 years ago. Back then you could not go wrong. They had the Milos burger and that was it. Today they offer quite a few different burgers. Ammie was working the counter today and she was a huge help to me. I explained what I was looking for and she knew exactly what I wanted. It was every bit as good as I hoped it would be. The fries are not as salty as they once were and they don’t have the same color but they are good. The meal was slightly higher then I was expecting but that is okay. One nice touch is they bring your order to your table.
