For a small mountain roadhouse Millsite Inn certainly exceeded our expectations. The food was great. Service was a little slow but there appeared to be only one friendly person working and serving all the guests. I heard someone say they play live music on Sundays. It was cozy and definitely worth stopping in.

Very cool place but not dog friendly…
We stopped here for a quick coffee and pie. It was as delicious as expensive. The location is great and atmosphere really cool but they could have been a little bit more friendly… don’t quite get how dogs are not allowed inside tho… but we had a great spot by the entrance on an old couch they have there. Worth the stop for a quick pie, not so sure about an entire meal.

Very cozy place to hangout, they have live music all time, pool to play and amazing food. Loved the pizza and garlic bread. They make inhouse dough so the pizza and garlic bread was super fresh and tastie.

I’ve passed by this place a dozen times on the peak to peak hwy. This time my dire hunger drove me in for lunch. This place screams mom and pop, the service was great, the owners are so hospitable that I felt like I was at my grandparents mountain bar. The sloppy joe was recommended to me, and was better than any other sloppy joe I’ve ever had in my life. Very down to earth place. Would recommend, and will be stopping again soon.

Absolutely delicious Colorado style green pork chile! Try to get yourself a bowl. I ordered a side of fries and it was too much food! Our party also had an awesome veggie and hummus wrap.
The owner of this family-run business is just terrific. Service was fast and friendly. Just a one of a kind excellent roadside restaurant where everything is amazing and you are supporting a family– not a soulless chain!

Such a great little spot! My wife and I had a great time visiting with the owner, had an enjoyable lunch, and really look forward to coming back.

Our first visit to the Millsite Inn was a mixed bag. The good: the fries, sweet potato fries and tater tots were deliciously fresh, hot, and crispy. The Swiss cheese and mushroom topping for one burger was also well prepared. The red table wine was surprisingly drinkable. The bad:There were no gluten free options so we ordered burgers with no buns. The service was slow and inaccurate, and all our burgers were overcooked and dry (that might have been the server’s fault). It was early evening on a slow night but several tables hadn’t been cleared, the whole place looked dusty, and there was a strong smell of air freshener that detracted from the food.
Overall, we wish the Millsite Inn well. It has promise – old building is cute and cook seems competent – but needs a good fragrance-free cleaning, air freshener removed, and accurate service. We are locals and would love to have a good burger place close by.. in fact, if on our second visit these issues have been corrected, we will become regular customers and will be delighted to change this to a 5-star review!

I cannot stress enough how amazing the Millsite is! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and quickly becoming sparse in this area. It feels like home with the added bonus of someone cooking for you. They had a great veg option for lunch as well as standard pub food. The service was great, they still have a pool table, and live music on the weekends. Breakfast is served on Sunday so don’t miss out!

Family run place, New owners who are awesome welcoming folks. We’ve been twice now – both times incredible. GREAT PIE! Burger was great too. Owners on site and running bar and kitchen – great people. Can’t wait to go back. Great hug from the owner, Josh, on the way out. Can’t say enough great things about The Millsite. Josh said he’s bringing in live music on weekends.
