The Mills Restaurant, with its Greek/Mediterranean cuisine, promotes traditional cooking complimented with a modern touch. Our restaurant focuses on seafood cooking with the huge variety of fish made available to us by the local fisherman and the Ionian Sea. Additionally, we proudly reminisce the past by cooking old-time favorites, such as wild goat, in our external wood-burning clay ovens. All this, in a perfect sea-side environment in the picturesque bay of Kioni – one of the gems of the Ionian. Lastly, as Kioni is a popular sailing destination, we attempt to satisfy all ones needs by offering Hot Showers, Wi-Fi, Breakfasts, Coffees and Drinks in addition to our great meals.

I don’t know how this place has a rating below 4. The host and the servers were amazingly polite and friendly. Then the food came and we even forgot to take pictures before thinking of writing this review. That’s how good it was. The actual fried calamari, the grilled ouzo calamari, the taramosalad, the fried zucchini got us to thinking damn, that place needs a good review. So here we are, 10/10 experience.

The Highlight of Our Ionian Sailing Trip!
On our skipper’s stellar recommendation, our family of 16 had dinner at Mills during a sailing trip around the islands. This was, without a doubt, the best stop of our entire journey.
Accommodating a group our size can be a challenge, but the staff at Mills were incredibly welcoming and handled our party flawlessly. The service was excellent. Every single person, from the youngest to the oldest, was delighted with their meal. To please a party of 16 is no small feat, and they succeeded brilliantly.
If you find yourself in Ithaca, Mills is a must-visit for a truly memorable meal. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Went there there first time in 2022. We had a blast, the food was amazing, the location very beautiful and the service very kind and friendly.

It was absolutely divine !!
On top of that there is the location. Our table was on the edge of the sea with a great view over the bay

We went there twice and it was the best food we had in Kioni by far. The seafood pasta was delicious and our little one was a fan of the pastitsada – the chef knows what they’re doing. A big shout out to Melissa who is an incredible server and went the extra mile to entertain our toddler with high fives and ‘bye byes’. Thank you, Melissa!

We had a great meal here. We were a group of 8 and came to Mills for dinner on the day of the football world cup final. The restaurant was packed and the staff were really accommodating with us and super friendly.
The food was great, we loved the fried calamari and the aubergine dishes. They made a mistake in the kitchen which meant one of the dishes was late (by 5 min) and they brought us a massive seared tuna salad to apologise.

Well. the maitre d’hotel stopped us as we passed and as part of his patter said essentially “ if you don’t like the food you don’t pay, if you do, you pay double”.
Having surveyed almost the whole quay (late October), we returned to dine -and were unimpressed.
The starters were unusual for Greece (we thought) but the pork steaks were very well cooked . We had three chicken dishes – one of which was undercooked/raw. The replacement meal had not arrived after 20mins at which point we tried to leave. But leaving without paying for the meal we hadn’t eaten proved difficult. It took 15 minutes to agree the bill; we paid it and left.
Most disappointing.
