We were heading out of town and decided to stop because of the great reviews. We got 1 loaf of (very under baked) sweet bread. 1 “day” old garlic cheese bread and 1 “day” old sweet bread and 1 Italian sandwich to go. We got up to houghton got our stuff all set and started our grill. I took the “day” old garlic bread out of the bag and started wrapping in foil to heat up. It was moldy. Sweet bread was moldy. Now I’ve baked bread for many years and I know it takes much longer than “day” old to grow mold! Absolutely disgusting! The loaf of full price sweet breat was so doughy and raw. Ugg. Never agian!. This shop was adorable inside and out and had a very nice selection of ice cream, exactly what you’re expecting! I had a dark chocolate ice cream with caramel and brownie pieces made into a milkshake. 9/10 the thin straw made it difficult to drink those brownie pieces.

The Tuscan turkey sandwich with fresh mozzarella on cheese bread was excellent! The staff was cheerful, polite and accommodating. Our food was received quickly and we were able to enjoy our meal outdoors. It was a wonderful experience!
