Coeur d’Alene Coffee Company opened in late summer 2017, when Danelle & Cody Peterson wanted to fulfill the dream of opening a coffee shop that was unique and also gives back to our wonderful community. Danelle & Cody moved from Cut Bank, Montana to Coeur d’Alene in 1992 and have raised 2 boys here. The majority of the coffee shop was hand-built by the family of 4, making it an even more special place. CDA Coffee Co houses 2 beautiful top-of-the-line Slayer espresso machines, as well as our Diedrich roaster, made locally in Sandpoint, Idaho, that enables us to roast fresh coffee daily.

Was in Spokane for an event and wanted to check out CDA because I’ve heard so many great things about the area and the people. Popped over in a Sunday morning for a latte and something to eat.
I’m so glad I did. Unfortunately it was really foggy so I couldn’t see the terrain and surroundings. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the latte was perfect and the Danish was excellent. Big space with plenty of seating, quiet background music and a surprisingly cozy atmosphere for being as big as it is.
I’ve been around the coffee industry in the Portland area for 20+ years, worked as a part time barista after retirement for a little while, and make my own at home every day when I’m not on the road. This place gets it right! I’m more of a purist, so I can only speak to the traditional milk-based espresso drinks. Perfectly stretched and steamed milk, balanced espresso and top notch presentation.

I’ve been to CDA a number of times, and during my most recent seven-week visit, CDA Coffee Co became my go-to spot for coffee and a place to chill, reflect, and get work done.
I love the atmosphere and the architecture — it’s a great space to settle in for a while. The staff is amazing: always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And yes…the coffee is GREAT. 🙂

Outstanding place in CDL for a coffee and some great atmosphere. Had the chance to meet Michael, the GM and Roaster. He was awesome and had a wonderful staff. My wife’s Breve “was amazing” as she said. My Americano was perfect. 5 stars. Great people. Great atmosphere. Great coffee drinks.

Love the space left the service, but the vegetarian breakfast burrito was a complete disappoint disappointment. Couldn’t find any egg or vegetablesamidst the black bean and hash brown mash inside. Thankfully, the spicy sauce was good. The coffee was so-so……and to me, had a funny after the taste. My partner thought it was great.
