Let me first say I had exceptional customer service Mario Q truly elevated the dining experience. We did the HRW and the smoked cheese was my favorite appetizer… the wedge salad was super tasty but the star was the entrees…we got 1 crab cake 1 shrimp and scallops and 1 snapper…delicious…the seafood was fresh and not overly done and the sauces …chefs kiss. I can not wait to come again…oh the zucchini is the best side dish.

This is such a cute spot with a wide variety of seating options. The menu is very eclectic, and there are additional options for food available during happy hour. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, which is always appreciated. The food is delicious and filling!

It’s HRW and yea they were busy. Parking is not the best but they do have valet. Service was good, some better than others. We were there for the Sunday brunch rush! The Seafood Chowder would definitely be a repeat order. The Shrimp and Grits were good though cheese grits were different than what used to. The omelette was more than enough. Millie’s rates a repeat visit even after HRW.

Decided to try this little gem of a place. It did not disappoint. I was able to try this place thanks to Restaurant Week! Nice and cozy with a neighborhood feel. We sat at the bar with Myesha being our bartender/server. She has excellent customer service skills along with great bartending knowledge. She made wonderful suggestions. This is a must try! The food is very delicious and service is wonderful!

Went for HRW, however, ended up ordering from the regular brunch menu. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. I ordered a children’s mini pancake and bacon and an omelet BLT that was meh. Mini pancakes were huge for $6. My friend ordered shrimp and grits. The andouille sausage shrimp and grits was 3/10 for me. Went for the experience.

Millie’s has become our favorite place in Houston—not just for the food—but for the people who run the restaurant. I’ve never had a bad meal here (I say “here” because I’m sitting in the restaurant right now) and most are exceptional.

Saturday night and not enough staff. Waited forever to be greeted and serve drinks. Young man who took care of us was really thoughtful and tried very hard but needed help. We have been here a dozen times living one block away, and every time we say we’re not going back. This time we mean it. Shrimp was extremely smelly and strong flavor. Wedge salads were weak and one of the missing cherry tomatoes. Shrimp and scallops were over cooked and burnt on one side. $14 for a glass of Columbia crest Cabernet. Draft beer nine bucks. Please be more realistic with your prices and if you’re going to charge that much, it better be a much higher quality food, service and atmosphere. By the way, they had a 12-year-old, Hispanic boy waiting tables and picking up dirty dishes. Is that legal?

My husband wanted to surprise us by going to lubys but it was closing so he wanted to find somewhere local as we just moved in the neighborhood last month.

The clam chowder was delicious. Super cute restaurant. They service was really quick on a weekday lunch. Looking forward to coming back to try the lobster roll and some other items.

Great selection of bourbon, Whiskey and whisky, aka scotch. The food was excellent! Kids chicken tenders are real chicken tenderloins not pieces parts glued together! The burger bowl was excellent and very filling. The egg on top was cooked perfectly. The chicken fried steak was very large, and more than a healthy 28 year old man could eat. The play yard could use some newer toys..
