This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint at all . We tried their Turkey sandwich on rustic loaf bread and a baguette which was very good! The red pepper relish in it gives a nice kick to the sandwich. Everything tasted so fresh . We also got their chocolate cake with cherries and it was so moist and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was so balanced and flavorful. It can get busy around noon but the service is super quick. Highly recommend this place.

This place is buzzing with activity.. Saturday mornings do not be surprised to see a line out the door. As busy as it gets, the line moves pretty quickly. I love the assortment of breads and other bake goods, Miller’s Thumb Bakery has to offer. There is limited seating but if you choose to eat inside, you definitely will enjoy the people watching.

Their bread is amazing. A must try. All of their pastries are very fresh and to the point. The hot chocolate we ordered was disappointing though, was very watery and no chocolate taste. Otherwise their coffee and pastries are a definitely a must try!

Update: Still the best baked goods around – just ate the chocolate cake – flawless. The crumb of the cake was perfect, the icing rich yet light. Man was that delicious! —Just discovered this little gem of a bakery on Saturday – The owner is lovely. Through the window you can watch the wheat berries being ground into flour before the magic happens. The rustic loaf made the perfect bed for my BLT. The baguette was flawless. The oatmeal cookie was the best I have ever had. I bought various other baked goods and savored them all as everything was delicious. If you are looking for a new bakery, this is the place.

Highly recommended! There is nothing like fresh bread & bake goods! I buy a baguette, focaccia bread & espresso every time. The quality of the ingredients is what makes this bakery so special. My family, friends and I can tell the difference. No preservatives or ingredients that extend longer shelf life. This greatly appreciated.
I have always had a nice experience with the staff look forward to coming back. I will be honest, I didn’t want to write this review because the lines would be longer and my favorite items might sell out! The lines are worth the wait!
Don’t miss out on this gem in the Ken/Ton area.

This is hands down the best bakery in Buffalo. It is consistently high quality, and they offer a great range of delicious pastries, baked goods and lunch fare. They also have some of the best baristas in town. The ownership general cares about their customers and treats their regulars like family.

Absolutely an amazing cafe and bakery to get your breakfast, coffee, pastry, and some bread for home!! Everyone working the counter is so sweet and helpful. I went in for the first time at 9am on a Friday and there was a line but it moved so quickly. My breakfast sandwich (the commuter with bacon and bagel) came out sooo quickly and it was amazing. I wish I lived closer but will definitely make the effort to be back here often! ☕️

Millers Thumb was quickly made the top bakery spot in my family as soon as we went there the first time!
Everything is so delicious. People get upset about the prices of things but then realize that they need money too for inventory and paying employees.
Prices are reasonable, staff is kind, very clean and cute atmosphere inside and the food is absolutely amazing. They make the best sourdough bread ever. It’s to die for.

Miller’s Thumb is quite simply the best bakery in the whole Buffalo area. Their bread is fresh and delicious and their pastries are “to die for. “Their egg and cheese on a fresh croissant is worth the considerable calories. A few folks complain that the bread goes stale in a few days, This is a mark of excellence because they do not use any preservatives, chemicals, or stabilizers. I have learned that when I buy to much, put it in the fridge or freezer , collect it and MAKE SUPURBE (and easy) BREAD PUDDING !!!! PS. “Wonderful loaf” makes the BEST French toast.
