My brother lives in Ann Arbor and brought me and my wife here 10 years ago. We loved it then and 10 years later we still loved it. The burgers are so juicy and the taste is just perfect. You can tell it’s good quality meat. You only get a few toppings which are ketchup mustard onion and pickles. And that’s perfectly fine coz the burger is just that good. The side orders of fries and onion rings are just as good. Delicious food altogether. The service is excellent. Kudos to the waitress who is serving the customers and taking on call orders at the same time. And to top it all, they have this trust concept. Though they take your order when checking out u tell the cashier what you ordered and pay for it. No invoice. They will take your word for it. I highly recommend the place on all levels. Will visit whenever I get the chance.

I’ve been going here for 40+ years and never ever had I considered walking out before today. I understand being short staffed but not even being acknowledged after 15 minutes if sitting here is unacceptable! And as we walked out without having spoken to anyone one of the ” experienced”wait staff said ” have a good one” ! I’m done! By the way, Kelly’s Irish pub right down telegraph had an awesome burger and loaded fries! And…they even have a menu!

Burgers, fries and onion rings- that’s it. But they’re so good. About half pound with choice of American or Swiss, onions and pickles on the side. If you want a dense, greasy, delicious burger with no need to make any decisions, this is the spot. A few beers on tap and in bottle, cash only.

Even though the website says credit card, master card debit card they are cash only. They have an ATM, $2.50 charge to use and another $2.50 charge from bank. Got the cheeseburger with fries, was about $14.75. Cheeseburger is fairly thick and comes with a great slice of melted velveeta cheese. Bun was excellent. Nothing mind blowing but a good burger. Fries were so-so.

I was told that this place serves the best burgers in Detroit so I had to check it out. I was so happy that I did. It is charming with a classic diner feel. We sat at the bar near the grill so we watched the cook. She was an artist. The bar was unique and seemed to be a 30’s or 40’s art deco style. My burger was delicious. They serve a generous slice of onion if requested. The fries were also very good. They offer several draft beer selections. Make sure you go with some cash in your pocket, they don’t accept credit cards. I’ll definitely be going back.
